This is a favourite for me and my friends. The service is pretty good and the quality of the cocktails are excellent. The bar staff really know what to deliver and garnish the drinks with fresh fruit or put cute little designs on the cocktails. Food is a bit pricey for average tapas and is better to treat as a snack to go with your drinks rather than a full meal.

his place is a great fallback option or starter for the night if you're in Newtown. They have an extensive cocktail list but having said that a lot of them recycle the same ingredients e.g cranberry juice, lychees etc so they only really have super-sweet drinks. The specialty cocktails on the second level are pretty decent and the furnishings are pretty swish! Try to be early to get a seat and avoid the thick crowds during happy hour.

Dined here with friends recently and decided to go to the local Doytao instead of trekking to the famous and fabulous Newtown one. A little disappointed, as it just doesn't compare to its Newtown sister. The service was satisfactory but the venue and food was not as good as its Newtown counterpart unfortunately!

I've been to this cafe twice - the first time I had an average experience and the last time was really horrendous! The first time was for lunch and the food was pretty poor my friend's salad (I think it was Chicken Caesar Salad) had, no joke, four pieces of chicken for the whole salad. The last time we went the waiter was very rude when my companion asked about a particular dessert in which he replied "I don't know, it's just a cake". There are much better places to dine on King St, the one saving grace is the decor.

This is the local take-away place and it is pretty great considering the area doesn't have a lot of places that provide delivery. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is pretty good, above average but not the most amazing, best Thai food that I have had. Having said that their delivery service is super fast - food can arrive as fast as 20mins after ordering!
