What a waste of a great space! This restaurant has prime real estate directly on the lake with a great outdoor dining area, but the terrible service and overpriced (though not overly tasty) meals are not worth it just for a pleasant place to sit. Good luck getting a coffee in less than half an hour, and if you're planning to go for a whole meal -- plan to be there half a day!

The quality of the toys (for the most part) is very good, and they have some wonderful education toys. However, everything is drastically overpriced! I go into this store nearly every time I'm at the shopping centre, but I have only bought toys during their annual toy sale (usually July).

If you see something you really like but don't want to pay the big bucks, I'd suggest getting on their mailing list to find when the sales are on or when they offer deals like free shipping or some other bonus.

Approximate cost: $most toys are $25+

We used ColourBABY for our 1st child's birth announcements. They have a great selection of cards and plenty of options for putting in your own photo(s). The turnaround time was quick, the ordering process was easy, and the cards were very cute. However, I didn't think they were worth the money and we used a different company when our 2nd child was born.

We hired a number of items from Hire for Baby - South Brisbane for both of my children. They always had the items available (or could get them quickly enough), and the items were in great condition. We used them for things that I knew we wouldn't be using for more than 3-6 months -- infant swings, activity centres, etc. But they really have everything you need/want without having to pay $100's for something you'll only use for a short time!

I get a manicure and pedicure from here at least once a month. Even without a booking, they are very efficient, and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. The place is very clean (no overwhelming smell of nail polish remover like in some nail salons!), and I'm always pleased with the job they've done.

We used them to clean our couches (suede). The technician was very friendly, prompt and tidy, and when he left the upholstery looked very clean. However, once the couches were completely dry, I could see all the same spots (not stains, just grime/dirt) returning so it seemed like a lot of expense for nothing.

This review is for Indooroopilly Montessori Children's House, Indooroopilly QLD

This is a purpose-built Montessori preschool and long day care centre for children ages 6 weeks - 5 years. IMCH is so much more than a childcare centre. Their specially trained staff provide activities within the Montessori method, and the children love it!

The cost is higher than other daycare centres, but you get what you pay for. If you can afford it and want the best for your child, IMCH is the choice!

Approximate cost: $74/day

Weekly or fortnightly cleans of our 3 bdrm, 2ba house. The service is entirely dependent on the particular cleaner the company sends you. We are very happy with our current cleaner, but it has taken persistence (and 4 other cleaners) to find a good one. However, the company has been patient with my complaints and kept sending new cleaners for us to try. Now that we have found a good one, we will stick with them (unless we find someone good who isn't with an agency so we don't have to pay the agency fee -- $17/clean).

Approximate cost: $66 for 3 hour clean

This review is for Prestige Dance Centre, Springfield QLD

The Creative Dance classes (for 3-4yr olds) is very cute! It is ballet-based but very age appropriate for this young age group. The little girls wear any princess dresses or ballet outfits that they want, so there are no extra expenses for costumes, shoes, etc. The teacher, Lauren, kept the girls focused but entertained, and my daughter loved it!

Approximate cost: $150/term

The concept is great and the play equipment is very appropriate for infants and toddlers. However, my son got sick after every class (then we'd have to miss the next one), so I questioned the hygiene practices of the place.

The songs and activities are very cute, but so much depended on the teacher. Some were great, some not-so-great.

These classes are most appropriate for about 10months - 2yrs only, although they do offer from much younger to school age.
