Breakfast and Beer is a lovely little spot down the hill away from the main cafe/shopping strip in Vincent St. They boast an amazing array of beers, as one would expect, with staff who are well versed in aiding you with a selection. A cosy open fire is lovely for those super chilly winter nights, and days! The staff, as well as being efficient and knowledgable, are very friendly, which, along with the eclectic decor, is what helps make this cafe the lovable spot that it is :) The food is also lovely, although my initial experience was more memorable than subsequent ones, though perhaps this was an instance of the first time is the greatest ;-)

A truly beautiful Italian cafe. I have been here for a slow, relaxed dinner as well as lunch, both times the experience was simply lovely. The food is divine, the atmosphere and service faultless. The staff are so warm and welcoming, and very accommodating to my friends who had their 4 month old baby in a pram. The only thing I would recommend to Umberto's chef is to please include a greater range of vegetarian fare, it is what is stopping me from coming back more often!!

If you are looking for a truly wonderful brunch experience, try Ruckers Hill Cafe! The food, staff and atmosphere were all fantastic. Being a vegetarian I don't often find really really good food, why baffles me - but there it is! Ruckers Hill Cafe definitely hit the spot with their vegie claypot breakfast, simply divine! My companions, mainly meat eaters, were raving about their meals too. The price was also reasonable, i had a pot of tea and fresh juice as well as my scrummy yummy claypot delight and paid about $25 for the pleasure. Take note, Ruckers Hill Cafe is very popular, and the space is quite small, so either book ahead or be prepared to meander around high street's lovely mix of eclectic shops while you wait.

Visted this practice a couple of years ago before i found a more local solution for my dentistry needs. The dentist i saw was pleasant, efficient and gave me some sound advice. I felt he was tryong to sway me into a treatment i believed would not be affective for me and this is the main reason i sought a Dentist elsewhere. Overall a good experience.

I have been visiting this salon for years and find them to be great! Friendly, efficient and affordable! Plus located at Preston market is very convenient, you can get your grocery shopping done at the same time. A cut above the other salons in the area, which also charge more! Cudos to Anthi and her team of stylists for such a fantastic salon!

I purchased a voucher off a group buying site for this salon. The value was incredible, unsure whT their usual prices are like but i would recommend checking them out to those in the Doncaster area. The staff were friendly, salon was pleasant and in a convenient location - not too far from Doncaster Shopping Centre.
I was happy with the cut & foils i had done, however, next visit i'll request a slightly different look. This is the usual breaking in stuff of bisiting a new hairdresser.

I had my first visit with Maryanne recently and will be returning to her again, which is a recommendation in itself! Overall My session was a little unfulfilling but i think that was more due to it being an initial consultation which often involves a bit of background filling in before the kinesiologist can work their magic :-) Value-wise the service scored high as i purchased a voucher from a group buying site. I'll check back in after my secondary visit.

Overall a pretty painless dentistry experience. This practice is efficient, friendly & knowledgable. A clean lined, modern practice. Recommend if you live in the area and need a check up!

I love this place! the food is always fresh, the staff are lovely and the vibe of the place is relaxed. You can go here for a quick meal or stay for a more relaxed dinner. One fault is the lack of music! I would love there to be some background music playing, otherwise these guys rock!

I am sorry to say that my experience of Cafe Saffron has plummeted from what it was. They had always been a tried and trusted local Indian takeaway/home delivery and dine in restaurant.
The last 2 times i ordered home delivery, both in late 2010, the experience was less than gratifying. One was really just ordinary. If it had been the first time i had ordered from Saffron i wouldn't have bothered going back. But i had experienced otherwise so i gave them another shot.
The other shot was what bit the bullet for me. The delivery was extremely late (over 40 minutes late, approx. 1 1/2 hrs all up) and one of the meals was the wrong dish. When i rang to rectify the problem the staff weren't rude but they also weren't pleasant or apologetic. IMHO a simple sorry goes such a long way! The correct dish was brought back to us very promptly, although the dish itself suffered from this expediting. It was just not up to the past standard of Cafe Saffron :/ It was basically thrown together and cooked in such a hurry that flavour, care, and any interest in a good product was put aside. This dish was left uneaten save for a few bites. While I did appreciate the speed in which the dish was brought back to us i would have preferred a credit for my next order (which i did suggest initially) than the poor quality product i was brought.
So as i mentioned at the outset i am sad to say i will not be back to Cafe Saffron nor would i recommend them to anyone. I had many many lovely experiences in the past but an ordinary meal followed but a downright disappointing and unpleasant one just won't get me going back.
