Wow - what a huge selection. We purchased some delicious cakes for afternoon tea. While were sitting at the window eating our gelati the traffic in and out was substantial, which goes to show that it is a great popular bakery. Will revisit when in the Barossa.

The food was great. Pate entree was substantial with a variety of biscuits and breads. The kangaroo was tender and delicious, and expertly cooked. The chicken breast was lovely. However, the atmosphere was poor. It did have a lovely rustic feel but was in need of a tidy up. It desperately needed some sunlight to brighten it up. Some 'tlc' is really needed to spruce it up.

We purchased a voucher for a two night experience. Though our cottage had a lounge, bedroom and lovely bathroom with spa we were disappointed. The renovation had been done quite a few years ago and had not been maintained. The carpet needed a thorough clean. The front garden was quite nice but the surroundings were very shoddy. The view from one of our windows was of a run down house with broken asbestos surrounding its back verandah. It was not a place to unwind and relax. We only stayed for one night instead of the two.

We enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the Bistro (a lovely large room of large windows overlooking the gardens). Prices are average for a pub meal. The food was excellent and staff helpful.

What a lovely friendly welcoming place. You are encouraged to sample the free tasting throughout the shop, and there are lots of them. The prices are very reasonable. Quince paste and chilli ginger sauce are amazing. Lots of places overlooking the picturesque dame to take in a mouthwatering snack and just relax. Does not open until 10.30am but if you are a little early lots of places to walk around.

A beautiful winery with amazing views. Would be lovely to be there when their large open fire is roaring. The staff are very friendly and chatty and welcoming (and not condescending). Large variety of lovely wines at reasonable prices. The chocolate port (Sable) is heavenly.

Unfortunately when we visited this bakery they were in the process of renovations, so the atmosphere was lacking. However, the chunky pepper beef pie was great, being 2 inches high and filled with large chunks of beef. Would be worth a return visit when renos. have finished.

Open 10.30am to 5.00pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday and most public holidays. Andrew & Janet are a lovely couple dedicated to their fruit wines. They have an interesting, different range of wines made from fruits, eg apricot, rose petal (turkish delight), quandong etc. The quandong is amazing. Well worth a visit - you will be made to feel very welcome. Lovely idea for presents.

First time there on the weekend. The chilli chicken pizza was delicious with lots of chicken. The apricot chicken pasta was lovely and different from other places. My husband usually has the left over pizza for lunch the next day, but this time I did and still enjoyed it.

I regularly have massages so know what I am looking for. John Vanderham is a wonderful masseuse. He is very professional. He performed an amazing workout on my back and certainly relieved many pressure points. The difference was very noticeable. You know that you are confident with someone when you do not feel the need to talk during the session. I will certainly return when I require more work.
