Haven't eaten there but have had plenty of drinks...plenty. Gets packed after work, esp on fri nights for the city set. The beer garden is a good place to pour in a few after work, get there and have a few pints.

Great beer garden out the back, great for watching the footy or for a few beers before wandering over to the game. Gets pretty packed on a sat night, make sure to get there early if you want a table to eat

Been here twice, both times food orders were missed and eventually came out when everyone else had finished eating. This probably isn't the norm but it's what happened to me.
Staff are friendly enough but obviously not getting paid enough to care beyond pulling a beer and taking the cash. Beers aren't cheap, $12 for a pint. Nice place, cool interior but expect to pay for it.

Pretty good local pub, $15 meals are a bonus (limited selection, the rest of the menu is about double that) and the bar is a pretty relaxed and friendly. Generally a few families with kids around, adds to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

7-11pm the pizzas are $4. But you're not getting a $4 pizza, oh no! Actually a good size, good range to choose from and decent toppings. I go for the caesar salad pizza, real good.
Drinks aren't cheap, $5 for a pot and they're usually understaffed at the bar so you'll need to wait to order, well, anything at all, but cheap and tasty food and convenient location.

Tucked away, you'd never know it's there but make the effort, well worth going. My pick for the western suburbs. Very reasonably priced - ~$20 for a generous sized main - and absolutely delicious. I actually want to buy a house across the road so i can eat there 5 nights a week. Can't recommend highly enough, do it!

Late sunday afternoon and nothing for dinner/still hungover/on the way home and can't be bothered cooking? Jackie's is where its at.
Simple, good value, very tasty. Make it your default pizza shop.

Service is fast and attentive, food is ok. Been here a few times and it's ok but nothing super special. Plenty to pick from on the menu and servings are generous.

Great outlook, the deck is a cracker. Seafood basket for two is huge, should be shared by 4, at least. Bar area is friendly and relaxed country pub bar. The fire is a ripper during the colder months and best place to be with a cold beer. Food is nothing special, pretty standard pub food but there's nothing better nearby in orbost so this is your best bet.

Took me ages to get a pie, there was just two people serving on a sat morn and they were under the pump. Pretty standard chain type bakery, nothing special but fills a spot.
