The full blown nachos are a ripper, comes with everything piled on top. Steak salad is a worthy pick and the sesame chicken with satay sauce is generous serving. The satay is pretty mindblowing too. It'll never win a michelin star but solid and very tasty food.

Food is great, seafood broth that i had from the specials board was delicious. Worth going here for the view alone, nothing beats it - although the menu is priced accordingly. Sit on the deck in summer or try to snag the couch near the fire in winter and enjoy the outlook.

The dimsims are massive and tasty. Sweet and sour pork is a ripper and the lemon chicken i want to have babies with - its that good.
Gets very busy on a weekend, it's popularity is testament to the taste. Service is friendly and efficient even when they're packed and clearly under the pump.
Approximate cost: $18
Service isn't great and downstairs there's only 1 toilet for the whole level. That said, food will come out in record time, it's priced as you'd expect for dumplings, and is very very tasty.
Ordering from an ipad on the wall is fun - and easy to get carried away with!
Agree with the other review, chili wonton dumplings are the shiz!

Cool cafe. Bacon and egg roll was exactly what was required for my hangover and between that and the coffee, hangover was slayed. Always families, cafe racers, etc there, pretty popular but never had a problem getting a table. Convenient to the station and plenty of parking nearby.
Summary: Cool, great food. Do it.
Approximate cost: $20
3 stars might not be enough, don't let that put you off. Very friendly staff, tasty food. Try to get a table out the back, cool little courtyard. Out the back is a nice place to retreat from the city for a while and fill up on good quality food and drinks.

Pulled pork rolls, BAM!
Service was great, all hipster looking kids with neck and hand tattoos but they were very friendly and attentive. Food was great, looking forward to going back to see what's on the specials board. Do it.
Approximate cost: $25
Great food and coffee. You'll need to wait for a table, even before work during the week (after 9 its much quieter). On a weekend expect to wait 30mins at least. Food makes up for it though - cracking eggs and pancakes were super sweet and just what i needed to kill a hangover. I thought the staff were a little bit too cool when we walked in but they were pretty friendly. And hey, what can you expect from a trendy cafe in armadale. Overall, I enjoyed the food very much and would definitely go back.

One of the better places in barwon heads to eat, wood fired pizzas are the pick. Value too compared with some of the other (reasonably expensive) places nearby.
Had a lamb pizza, was tasty enough that i've now attempted to replicate at home. Very enjoyable setting in the north facing courtyard (ie sunny and sheltered) to have a wine or 2.

They have FORTY parmiganas on the menu! Enough said!
Some pretty exotic parmas available here, can make your own too. I go for a parma with avocado, cheese, sour cream and jalepenos. Delicious! Other meals are pretty solid pub food too, servings are generous and while the meals WILL take a while to come (on a friday night don't expect to eat inside an hour of ordering) the friendly staff make up for it.
