My first time at Wagamama and I'll be back again for sure. I was craving a big 'ol bowl of asian style chicken ramen noodle soup and they fit the bill nicely. So good to know you're eating a quality fast food meal rather than resorting to boring old burger and fries. The staff were happy and helpful and recommended the peach tea which was tasty. I'm a new fan.

This review is for Efendi's Turkish Restaurant, Paddington QLD

Had lunch here recently on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the tantalising smoky aromas coming from the kitchen when being seated. It seems to be a very new business and the staff are friendly (and most likely Turkish) so you know you're getting the real deal. I recommend the Turkish bread and dips for entree (great baba ghanoush and hommus) I also had the lamb shish with salad and rice which was generous and delicious while my husband had the Turkish pide which he thought could've been bigger for the price. Decor is modern and comfortable though the parking is a bit of an issue so a quick walk down the street is in order. Upon hearing that it was our wedding anniversary, our kind host generously gave us a gift to go (syrupy yet flaky baklava and a sample of Turkish Delight) which was delectable. An enjoyable meal and I hope to return again soon with more time up our sleeves to linger with coffee and dessert.

Had great service today at The Wesley Medical Centre. The hospital grounds can be daunting if you don't know your way around but our receptionist even gave us a hand drawn map on how and where to get your car parking ticket validated so if you're going for a medical appointment you can park for free as long as you present your ticket at the Security office in front reception.

This review is for KFC, Kelvin Grove QLD

Admittedly I haven't had KFC in a VERY long time which is probably why I noticed the change in taste from how I remember it. Is it just me or are they missing some of those 11 secret herbs and spices? The chips and gravy were good though. Don't understand why they would have touch screen self serve Express Stations here at this random location when there were only about 12 customers during a busy lunch period. Everyone seemed to be too afraid or simply not wanting to bother with the technology. The staff were friendly enough so why bother with a computer screen? Anyway, I should try another store to see if this is the new flavour of KFC chicken from now on.

I just LOVE Breadtop! Grab a tray and a pair of tongs and the prettiest, plumpest little goodies and freshly baked snacks are there for the taking from behind glass sliding doors. From chocolate filled croissants to apple turnovers, chicken pot pies, shrimp buns, quiches, sweet or savoury buns...you name it, the variety is tantalising. Moderately priced at roughly $2 - $3 each and the coffee is just $2 with purchase. Yummy and so good!

This review is for McDonalds, Newmarket QLD

I wasn't aware of this but Newmarket McDonalds is undergoing major renovations at the moment (Aug 2012) and besides having no McCafe in operation right now, the drive thru was not functioning either so the queue of perturbed walk-in customers was long. The staff were curt and robotic and one young girl behind the counter was too busy entertaining fellow workers with a long rendition of a very annoying rap song instead of taking care of business! I do hope mature, focussed staff members are waiting in the wings when the new improved restaurant is unveiled mid September.

Took my elderly mother here after recent eye surgery. The optometrist was so calm, patient and kind with her explaining everything in a soothing voice and helping her through the eye examination step by step. Great professional service and we were seen straight away without even making an appointment.

Delicious, filling lamb kebab served promptly with a smile. I got the meal deal: $8.80 for a regular lamb kebab and Coke. You have to pay extra for additional toppings here but all kebabs come with standard lettuce, tomato, onion.

This review is for Aldi, Bray Park QLD

This is a clean modern store that seems well stocked and clean. This is the place to go for cheap flowers ($4.99/bunch of mini roses) although some were a little expired late in the day. The staff are very friendly and I was very happy that they allowed me to return some Educational DVDs without a receipt. (They wouldn't allow me to do that at Aldi Stafford saying that I had to return them to the store of original purchase) Fair enough.

Good hearty meals in a central location with plenty of parking out front. Lovely place to getaway for a casual affordable midweek lunch, especially in the breezy dining area at the rear. Kids love the curly tail fries and even though it is a steak restaurant, I always order the salmon because it is cooked beautifully. (Not a fan of their caesar salad dressing though so I ask for it on the side) Thumbs up :)
