This is one of the best High Tea places in Sydney. The beautifully decorated room combined with delicate China plates are a perfect environment for a girls day out. Even though the portions of the food are very small, I've been here twice and both times I couldn't finish the food. Reason being, the scones are so filling! There is a decent selection of teas and a huge range of sweets. The price is fairly expensive, but I think it's definitely worth going once in a while.
This is a great little store with a huge variety of teas and accessories. I love how you can smell and even taste some of the teas. Staff are generally quite friendly and willing to help if you're stuck on ideas for gifts. Their is a premium that you pay but I think it's worth it.
This place can get pretty packed during weekday lunch hours, meaning there's good atmosphere. However the food is very pricey and not that great. I had a grilled fish of the day with chips and it was pretty bad. I'd recommend the pizzas instead. If you're price conscious, ask for the specials for the day.
This is probably my favourite bra brand. It's not the highest quality, but it's great for everyday wear. I normally purchase from Myer as there are sales every now and then, and the website charges shipping. The bras come in a fantastic range of colours, and they are very reasonably priced, around $30 for an everyday bra.
This is one of the biggest Myer's in Sydney so the range of stock is quite large. Each floor specialises in certain departments making it rather easy to navigate through. They stock a lovely range of make up and beauty in the ground floor. The only concern for me is the customer service. As it can get extremely busy on weekens or Thursday nights, staff can get a little flustered. Other than that, Myer has fantastic sales maybe once a month called Super Saturday, watch out for those.
This is a fun place to eat whether you're on a date or with a bunch of friends. The element of choosing your own food and watching it being cooked is pretty fun. The place is quite affordable and in a nice location near darling harbour. The only downside is service, a little friendliness never hurt anyone! Other than that, I'd recommended this place. Cheap tasty and fun.
This David Jones is quite small so the styles are very limited. However I'm finding that sales are getting better. Perhaps it's because of the threat of online sales. This David Jones stocks a decent range of quality brands such as Alannah Hill, Saba, Witchery, Oroton, Armani Jeans. As for electronics, I would never purchase from here but they do stock a decent range.
Fantastic value. I purchased the iPad mini few weeks ago when it was on sale. Shipping took about a week and they kept me up to date with the shipping progress. I'm not sure how good the kogan branded products are, but keep an eye out for sales on kogan.
Large shopping centre with heaps of variety. Highlight would probably be the ice rink. If you're short on time or cash, there's usually a discounted lunch session. Convenient place for uni stunts, and there's also heaps of buses that go pass this shopping centre. Would recommend this place for general shopping, as it includes all the major department stores, a large cinema and heaps of things to do for the kids.
I flew to Singapore over Easter flying Scoot. The price was fantastic as it was over the long weekend, but as you'd expect with budget airlines, the comfort and quality of the ride was average. If purchasing food on the plane, it's usually cheaper to pay in foreign currencies. My flight there and back was delayed about an hour, but that wasn't too big of a deal. I would recommend this if you're short on cash. But any longer than an 8 hour flight, it might be worth just paying more for comfort.
