Great place for breakfast. I loved the coffee and the service was quick and friendly. My partner had the pancakes which he said were great. I found however the bread to be ordinary light commercial stuff which was a disappointment. Some good quality bread would be an important improvement.

This is a very popular cafe. The food is quite expensive and I did not find the serves very generous. The food was good but not as good as I expected. I may come back here but I would not rush back.

A buzzing popular cafe. Hard to get a place on the weekend but worth waiting if necessary. Good coffee and delicious eggs. I don't get to Alphington often but will come again if I do.It has a nice outdoor garden area as well.

Lovely cafe. One of Melbourne's best breakfast spots. Good coffee and wonderful scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and goats cheese. Yum. There were lots of other tempting choices. This is Apte in Alphington's sister cafe and just as good.

I have always enjoyed the food here. The Curry Laksa is great and the rice noodle dishes are fantastic. Good value and if you can get here for lunch you can get fabulous deals under $10

This is a not very fancy place but it has sit down tables and takeaway. We went here because my friend had a good experience quite a while ago. This time it was very disappointing. Lots on the menu was not available. Food was below average: not much in the combination soup, bits of fat, and ordinary main dishes. We noticed that most of the other diners were ordering the satays which we hadn't. Maybe that is what they are good at but we won't come back to try.

This cafe does not have a huge menu but what they make is very good. I had their porridge and it was lovely with a jug of milk and little dish of stewed fruit on the side which made it look appetizing as well. Coffee was quite good too so overall it was a better than average breakfast. Small cafe with nice feel about it.

This is one of Melbourne's better cafes. The food is exceptional and the coffee is great. I had a wonderful Mocha and the famous Smashed Avocado dish which is fabulous. A little pricey but well worth it.

I tried this place because it was in the Entertainment book. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the ricotta & sundried tomato calzone with a side greek salad which was very good. Although it was in the middle of busy Chadstone food mall I enjoyed the background music as well

We tried this place for breakfast because it was in the Entertainment book. It was a nice find.Very good coffee and nice eggs. Not the best I've had but lovely all the same. Large restaurant with an open fire and good seating for small or large groups.
