This is a great spot for a great coffee and good food. I tried their Bircher Muesli which was only $8 and it was delicious. At another visit I had their great avocado smash and it was also delicious and great value. I tried their Green juice and it was yum. Apple, pear, kale, cucumber, kiwi fruit. The only fraw back is that the cafe is located in a drafty laneway and it was a cold day. A nice touch, though, is that they provide blanket throws to keep you warm. Very thoughtful. Look forward to coming back.

This cafe that offers Paleo diet foods has quite an interesting array on offer. I tried their Bircher Muesli which was made with Chia seeds, Goji berries, nuts and other goodies. It is not your regular Bircher. I quite liked it but didn't love it. Their juices were great and I also tried one of their baked goodies. Healthy but not delicious. I tried their Mocha made with coconut milk and it was a taste I would have to get used to. Couldn't drink it but maybe it was just too different. I'd like to try some other things when I visit again.

This place makes the thin type of pancakes. My partner had the spicy pancakes and quite liked them. I had eggs on toast with avocado. They were ok. The avocado was icy cold which spoiled the dish. Warm eggs with cold avo doesn't really go. Two very thin small pieces of toast was also not great. They seemed quite friendly. An average breakfast.

Serving 5 senses coffee these guys are friendly, proficient and a delight. There is no snobby attitude. I found their approach really refreshing. It is a very small cafe but there is a great vibe when you walk in. Everyone is greeted warmly and made to feel special. They have a lovely menu and food is reasonably priced. I'm surprised it took me so long to give it a try. The coffee was delicious. I will definitely be back.

This is a cute cafe situated on the edge of a parklike walkway. It has indoor and outdoor seating which overlooks this area. I had the chicken and avocado wrap and it was delicious. My friend had the avocado smash and she said it was yummy. It was certainly presented in a thoughtful and creative way. We were served quite quickly so if you need a quick bite in the area it is a good one to try. We will be back.

This cafe has only been opened for about four weeks. They are still ironing out the bugs but they have good potential. The coffee is smooth and flavoursome and they have interesting choices on the menu. They make all their cakes on site so you can enjoy a unique array of produce. The ambience is quite nice too although the staff could be a little friendlier.

This review is for Mossgreen Tearooms, Armadale VIC

This decadent tearoom is situated in the Moss Green Gallery. It is a high end cafe specialising in high tea. White tablecloths, bone china and an elegant atmosphere, this is a special place to visit. It's not cheap but then again it is not very expensive considering its style. I had a salad for lunch with chicken and that was $20. Served with avocado mousse and beetroot crisps. My lunch partner had the breakfast board with smoked salmon and that was $18. The tea was served in a beautiful china teapot. You are surrounded by beautiful artwork and you can wander around the gallery after your meal. They made a couple of errors with out meals but they dealt with it graciously. It was packed during a mid-week lunch so I recommend that you book.

Lovely choices on the menu. Not the cheapest but not too bad either. I love the yoghurt with fruit and rosewater. I have it without the honey as it is sweet enough but it really is extra special. All the food is fresh and tasty and their coffee is usually good. Can be a bit inconsistent.

For those of you who love Indian food this place is a must. Lovely flavours, great service and reasonable prices. The food tastes clean and the combinations are delicate, not just spicy for the hell of it. A popular place with the locals. They offer a good take-away service too.

The restaurant in the Charsfield Hotel is open for breakfast lunch and dinner. We came here for lunch mid-week. The restaurant is old style victorian with lots of charm and character. I was in a bit of a rush and although they said they would be able to serve us quickly it took half an hour for our simple choices to arrive. So don't come for a quick meal. Having said that the food was delicious and reasonable. I had the roast vegetable rissoni and it was so yummy. Would love to have it again.
