This place has a lovely eating area and the menu choices are terrific. Service is a little on the indifferent side which is a shame. The main issue is the pricing. Lots of the breakfast meals are over $20 which is way too high. I had avocado as an extra and that was $5 for a very small serve of icy cold mash. The cold avo wasn't a great accompaniment with eggs. Nice bread but only one slice. I would prefer 2 slices rather than one small chunk piece.

Fabulous location with a great view if you sit by the window during the day. They have an extensive menu and a lovely ambience. They make a great fillet steak and terrific lamb salad. It's a perfect place to bring out of town visitors. There is also a separate area upstairs for functions.

This is a specialty coffee shop. The coffee is terrific and the bagel we had with it was scrumptious too. The staff were particularly friendly and we were offered a free cup of their specialty espresso. It was too strong for me but my partner loved it and it was lovely that they offered to us. You could feel their passion for the brew.

This place has a bit of a cult following. It is predominantly one of the new style coffee bars which specialises in coffee and does a very limited food menu. Mainly pastries and bagels. What I found VERY strange was that they have no chocolate so I could not have a mocha. Since when is a mocha not a coffee? So in a coffee place I had to have a tea. That felt really weird...bad weird. You can just be a bit too fanatical.

Great food, coffee and ambience. You can sometimes wait too long for service but it's a great place to come to. A lovely dining environment.The best suggestion is to try it mid-week as the wait on the weekends can be off putting. My friend adored the smashed avocado. I just had eggs on yummy grainy bread and it was delicious.

This place is a little inconsistent. I have been here and had great steak and then been disappointed at other times. The venue is quite nice though a little dark. Over the years they have become a little pricey but with the deals they offer from time to time you can still manage to get a good deal regularly.

This has become our favourite local. With the ongoing shop-a-docket deal that is buy one get one free, the value is exceptional. They have one of the best fillet steaks around and to pay $30 for two people you couldn't ask for better. You do have to book usually as they are often full. We have walked in a few times and been turned away. So remember to make a booking.

We come here for lunch and have been happy with the standard of the food. I have had steak, salads and their fish. All very good and quite generous portions. We use the shop-a-docket voucher and it makes for a very reasonable priced meal. But they have a $15 lunch deal which is great anyway

Very generous serves. I had the salad and not a burger and it really was quite large and tasty. The chips were yum. My partner had the chicken chilli burger and he said it was delicious. Not a very cosy interior but adequate. I would happily come back.

Fabulous cafe that serves delicious food and great coffee. I love the fact that they use Dench grain bread. Good bread makes all the difference. They also have an adjoining store that sells produce and their baked goods. Staff are friendly and the sandwiches on display make me want to go back for more. Generous serves. Overall a great breakfast and lunch spot
