This is one of our regular family meeting places. The food is consistently good and there is a lot of variety. I also like it because they have good salad choices with very fresh ingredients. It is also great if we come with kids as there is a kids playground to keep them entertained. If we come on our own then we can move far enough away so that we aren't bothered by the noise. The seniors menu is also excellent if you have seniors in your party. It comes with a $3 gaming voucher. They serve seniors 7 days a week.

We only come here for breakfast so I can't say much about the dinners. I can say that their specialty egg white omelette is hands down the best omelette in Melbourne. It is filled with yummy goodness, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, goat cheese, capsicum and comes with a generous side of avocado and two large slices of delicious grain bread. This is my favourite breakfast ever. Coffee is good too.

This is quite an expensive Japanese restaurant. The food is very good but at times the sauces are too sweet. We had the famed lamb and I must say it was soft and delicious. I also liked the agedashi tofu. The barramundi was good too but a very small piece is $27. It is only open for dinner, which is a pity, but as long as you are happy to spend a bit more you will probably enjoy the food and experience.

We only came here for coffee but it seemed like a great spot. There was a musician playing which was a lovely treat. It added a wonderful feeling to the place. Coffee was good and the menu looked appetising but we couldn't judge the rest of the place. If we came again to this area we would definitely try something. They have a very good breakfast menu as well.

The menu choices seemed inviting. I tried something different. A chick breast stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes, feta and spinach. It could have been delicious but the chicken was so dry it was very disappointing. My partner had the mixed skewers and the chicken there was over dry too. We would have stayed for dessert but we weren't game. There's not much else on offer in this area so I suppose they will continue to do OK. The service was fine.

This is a very up market trendy Italian cafe area in a business area. It has a fine grocery section attached to it with Italian pasta, cheeses and legumes for sale. I understand that the locals really love it even though it is quite expensive for what it is. I was visiting her and my friends had a pizza and a pasta dish which they really enjoyed. I had a Panzanella salad which is basically a greek salad with torn bread in it. I didn't really enjoy it and for the price charged I was glad I was a guest. The ambience is very nice and it has a lovely fit out. Apparently there is not much else around it to compete so it does a good trade.

I have been getting my glasses here for the last three or so years. I love them because the service is terrific. They are happy to fix or adjust any problems during the year. Best of all, they offer gap free glasses on your medical fund so I have had free glasses for years. Great styles and quick delivery. They sms or email when the glasses are ready. So if you have Private Medical Insurance this is definitely a place to try. Can't be beat.

This bar only serves tapas and I found that there was nothing much that appealed to me. Too much fried and not much else. It wasn't busy so I suppose that was fine as we had a quiet evening. I understand that do serve Paella on a couple of nights but not when we were there. Nothing memorable

This a very busy cafe right at the end of my street so it is disappointing that the food is just ok. Coffee is quite good but the two times I have eaten here the food was quite good but the portions were tiny. The serve of porridge barely covered the bottom of the bowl. Since the prices are high cafe prices I think little serves are not appropriate. Maybe in time they will improve.

Came here with friends. I just had coffee, which was good, but my friends ate. They thought it was just ok but the prices are quite steep for what it is. Like $12 for porridge or muesli, is expensive for a basic coffee place. Overall ordinary food at very high prices.
