Had a fun time here - they have bowling, a bar and a bunch of arcade games! The service was great and everything reasonably priced.

I first went here with a voucher, and have returned a bunch of times because it was really really good. It was actually my first experiencing with waxing (aside from eyebrows) and I basically got everything done - nose, upper lip, underarms, full legs and Brazilian xxx. The lady doing my wax was surprised that I decided to get it all done in one go but reassured me at every stage that I'd be fine. She was upfront about the more painful bits and eager to let me know when the worst was over or to compare the pain I'd already gone through to let me know I had nothing to worry about for the next parts.

Also great was that the lady was very friendly and chatted with me, distracting myself from not only any pain but also the embarrassment! In the background, there is also popular music playing, which makes it a nice atmosphere to be in.

The prices are quite good comparatively too. After this first wax, I decided to continue getting waxes and looked up prices of all the salons in the city. It did quite well against other prices. The best value is the brazillian if you're a student - $33!! I have never seen anywhere do it cheaper.

Also - try their nose wax!! I was skeptical but the lady assured me it was one of the least painful procedures (you basically just feel a tug, I'd go as far as saying no pain - but some with lower pain tolerances might disagree). It feels sooo good too, not having any hair in your nose - not just for beauty reasons, but also breathing easier.

I actually went here for the cooking class with 2 vouchers. I did their pizza class and their bread making class (which included pides - which are turkish pizzas).

The first class was small, so we got to do a fair bit more. The second class was bigger, so we had to share and thus didn't get a turn at everything. It was still a great experience though. The teacher/chef (Kemal I think?) was very helpful and friendly. We got to taste our creations and take home the left overs and recipes.

I would encourage you to try his pizzas if you're in the restaurant - they were quite amazing. Woodfired and very tasty. And the left overs were good microwaved the next morning!

Took friends here with a voucher for the boyfriends birthday. $100 worth of food including alcohol. I don't remember prices exactly, but it went fairly far - so I think their prices ordinarily were reasonable.

Worth noting was the lamb pizza - it was like a souvlaki on a pizza. I've since had a couple of similar topped pizzas at other places, but this was the best one I'd tasted. Their other pizzas were nice too. The dips were nice and I remember my friend eating a parma and enjoying it.

A very pleasant afternoon.

I first was enticed by the free felafel samples, but had already ordered fish and chips next door so I got a juice instead which was fairly nice. But vowed to come back to try food there!

Then I got a voucher for $30 worth of food (for $15 or so I think). So I went back with my boyfriend and we got felafel wraps, chips and dip. The dip was absolutely amazing! I forget which one it was, but something garlicy? I must go back for that. The felafel wasn't as great in the wrap as when I first tried it, but it was still nice. I'd probably go for a serve myself option next time - they have a bunch of salads to try.

This place is awesome, mainly for the decor, location and food. Nice view of state library and swanston street on the balcony, or a comfy chair inside with the various chinese decor and martial arts videos playing.

I haven't had a great drink here - they're okay, but overpriced. Their pizzas are cheap and yummy. They take quite a while to come out though, so order ASAP. They have some other good items on the menu and the price is fairly reasonable. A must try is the fresh cookie with icecream! I would be happier if they had a coffee machine or if they allowed you to bring in coffee - the cookie + coffee would be amazing. It is a bar though, so fair enough!

An interesting place. They have some nice cocktails - I liked their long island iced tea. I watched them make it from a lot of different spirits, figured it would taste horrible but was pleasantly surprised. But it went to my head veryyy quickly.

The decor is pretty cool. Of note is the harem-like seating area in the corner across from the bar. They also have another 2 or so levels which are a bit more secluded from the bar area.

Not sure if it's a regular thing, but when we went there was an option of ordering dumplings, which I believe they bought on our behalf from somewhere in Chinatown and then passed on to us. They were a good addition to the alcohol!

Worth a visit.

I went here with a voucher. I got a 60 min facial, including a massage and hand treatment + pedicure for $69.

The facial was great, she upgraded it for me to include some sort of treatment as I forewent the eyebrow threading (which was part of the voucher). The massage was nice too. The room this was done in was very small, with mood lighting and relaxing music in the background.

I wasn't too impressed with the pedicure/hand treatment. It was a bit rough and while the colour she painted my toe nails was lovely, they hurried me out to the main room and didn't tell me how long I should wait for the polish to dry. For all I knew she intended me to leave straight away. I kept getting looks from the hair dressers like I should leave soon. I stayed anyway, coz I didn't want to ruin the polish. However no sooner than I had walked out the door, I dented the polish. :(

I bought a cheap trial membership (I don't actually live in the area so I wasn't going to sign up) and went to some of the classes. It's quite a nice club and there's a fair amount of weighted machines and cardio equipment. They have a free weights section, but I didn't really check it out. They provide free apples and tea/coffee near the front desk and there are heaps of lockers.

Although I didn't sign up, my sister did and I recommended it to my mother who also signed up. They pitch some pretty high membership prices to you - you need to bargain them down. Find out what others are paying and try to have them match it. I don't remember exactly my family got them down to, but I think it was around $700.

Went here with a voucher giving me a $50 bar tab for $25. Fridays are $8 cocktail nights. They're pretty good, too! Unfortunately I wasn't able to use the bar tab with the $8 prices, but it was still worth it.

The place gets quite busy and it's fairly small (there's an upstairs consisting of about 4 tables, plus a handful of tables on the ground level where the bar is). I would recommend trying to grab a table upstairs. It's a little quieter there as most of the people crowd around the bar downstairs.
