Lovely warm atmosphere and great place to bring the family. The meals are reasonably priced and decent in size. Love the burger! Iced coffee is a winner too.
It's lovely to have a warm fire during winter too.

Totally the best Charcoal Chicken ever! We live in Monbulk but happily swing by Waverley Charcoal Chicken whenever we can. The chips are absolutely the bomb and the lamb souvlaki is totally delicious.

Totally love this place. It is relaxed and the food is beautiful. Coffees and hot chocolates are delightful and they use organic bonsoy Soy milk if you need it. I have used this place as a home away from home when needing to write assignments for uni and they have generously allowed me table space and happily kept the food and drinks coming!
There are couches for those who like to recline and some outside seating.
Kallista Tearooms serves all day breakfast (and it's worth it), and has a select lunch menu which changes with the seasonal availability of produce. I can definitely recommend the breakfast baguette (bacon, eggs, cheese, relish, ++ in a crusty baguette) and the wicked 'bowl' latte - it's huge!
Approximate cost: $15-20
The pizzas here are way over priced and you don't get much bang for your buck. The 'standard' pizzas I've had were dull in flavour and lacking in toppings. The gourmet lamb pizza is pretty good, but can't say that's it's worth the high price (~$21). I like tasty, gourmet pizzas, and I've been happy to pay high prices in the past, but the pizza here just doesn't live up to it. I love the idea of supporting local, small business, but I'll be going to Big Al's when it opens.
