This place does a mean Long Island Ice Tea. It's fairly relaxed and is a bit of fun on a Friday night. This is a good place to get a few cheap drinks before you head out for a big night on the town.
The Plough is the perfect relaxed pub for a Sunday afternoon session. The food is great and there's usually a cover band on. Nice spacious alfresco area and easy bar service. There's usually a really fun atmosphere.
O'Malleys is fantastic on a Friday night. There's usually a rock cover band on and there's a really friendly busy atmosphere. This is a classic Irish pub done well. Also it was recently renovatred last year.
Pancake Manor is a staple for a good night out in the city. There are loads of different combinations and the meals are huge. Great venue as well, I think it's an old church.
I don't know how convenient this would be for other people but if you're staying at Netanya like I did it is perfect. Tucked away in the car park this place is small but also very intimate and relaxing. I had an hour long massage here and it was blissful. I would definitely go here again.
The little shopfront in Hastings St is fairly new and I discovered it when one of their gourmet breakfast hampers was included in my hotel package. If I lived at Noosa I would get my breakfast from here every day. The food was divine! All beautiful local produce. My basket had fruit, museli, yoghurt, bagettes, milk, jams, eggs, and bacon all from Sunshine Coast suppliers. The only thing that wasn't local was the French butter (oh it was so good on the bagettes!). I also went to the store and bought some lime cordial made by a Noosa farm. For being all organic and on Hastings St the prices are actually incredibly reasonable. I will definately be ordering a breakfast basket from them next time that I stay at Noosa, whether it's included in my hotel package or not!

This place has hands down the best ice cream that I have ever had. I usually get half Rocher and half Meringue. When I stay at Noosa I eat as much as I possibly can and I even choose my hotel so that it is close by. The sorbets are also really yummy. I love the late hours so that you can always grab an ice cream after dinner and sit on the beach.

My stay at Netanya was exquisite. I stayed in one of the beachfront penthouse apartments which has a rooftop jacuzzi. A little bit pricey but completely worth it. I was surprised at how helpful the hotel staff are when it came to suggestions for massages and dinner reservations. Also I mentioned off hand to one of the hotel staff that there was a one blown bulb in my room, just so they knew after I left so that they could get it replaced, and they had it fixed within a couple of hours. The ultimate beachfront location is wonderful. I loved relaxing in my rooftop jacuzzi, having a glass of bubbly, and enjoying the beautiful sunset.
Approximate cost: $540 per night off peak
The vets here are fantastic. The staff are very friendly and helpful; they provide a personal touch. The facilties are very modern and clean. It's so reassuring to know that this vet is here if there is an emergency. This vet also takes injured wildlife and can arrange carers or treatment as needed.
It's so comforting to know that if there is an emergency this 24 hour vet is always there. This is a number that every Northsider should keep in their phone. The service is always great, even in very stressful emergency situations. The facilties are starting to look a little bit old and worn though.
