These donuts are delicious and a much better price than many of the trendy donut places around. I've tried quite a few flavours - the filled donuts are really excellent. Always fresh and tasty!

I know that if you have nothing nice to say that you shouldn't say anything at all... but god how I hate this place.

The service is atrocious. You're made to stand there waiting to be seated whilst several waiters/waitresses avoid eye contact with you. Then when they do finally get to you (15 minutes!) they are rude and useless. It was only half full when I went there, can't imagine how they would cope when it was full. Also what is the point of having to wait to be seated and then you have to go to the counter to order - are you table service or not?!

The menu says all day breakfast but then you go to order and it's not all day. The milkshakes are really nothing special and my friend burnt her mouth badly on the nutella hot chocolate because the nutella (simmering in a crock pot behind the counter for who knows how long) was like molten lava.

Needless to say, never going here again.

This cafe is perfection. I have been here several times and it is always so consistent and reliable. I love that there's so much to choose from on the menu. I usually go with a burger and one of their house-made juices. Delicious! The service is great and the atmosphere is fantastic. Great decor and they haven't overcrowded the tables. Easy to split the bill when you're out for weekend brunch with your mates. What's not to love :)

Had such a great dinner here. Authentic flavourful southern food. I had the blue cheese steak burger and it was to die for. Also the cornbread with molasses butter was the best. Great range of cocktails as well. Managed to please my fussy brother which is really saying something. As you would expect there's not a lot of choice for vegetarians though I had two with me that loved getting an assortment of delicious vegetable side dishes.

Such good Mexican food. There's a reason that this place is always busy. I usually have the tacos and they are stuffed to the brim and overflowing. I'm a big fan of the sangria as well. Decent prices and though the atmosphere can be crowded.

This review is for Balmoral Cineplex, Bulimba QLD

A current favourite of mine, this is a cinema that costs what it should really cost to go to the movies. Cheap tickets, cheap concessions, and a lovely old Hollywood glamour style to the theaters. Parking isn't really an issue, there's easy street parking in every direction on Oxford St. Perfect place for dinner and a movie.

This is one of those places where you eat so much that you have to roll out of there. Who can say no to nachos and tacos and chocolate dipped churros? The food here is great and the atmosphere is a lot of fun.

This review is for 5 Dogs Gourmet Hot Dogs, Fortitude Valley QLD

These hotdogs are soooo tasty. There are a lot of different combinations to go for - my fave is a German dog with aioli and pickles yum. Sure the surroundings are a little bit dingy (it's the Valley, what do you expect) but it's such a great super quick and easy place to eat. Plus they have vegan options and on Tuesday's it's 2 for 1.

This review is for La Macelleria Gelateria, New Farm QLD

There's no other way to say it, this is the best gelato in Brisbane. Authentic Italian perfection. Plus it's open late every night so perfect for a treat after dinner. I've tried almost every flavour and they're all divine. At the moment I'm a big fan of the peach gelato YUM!! It's no wonder that this place has a line out the door almost every night.

Really good burgers with combinations that are a little bit off the beaten track. Last time I went I had the spicy chipotle burger and it was comfort food at it's best. The service can be a little slow, depending on the night. Very cool decor and atmosphere. This is a great casual place to grab a bite on your way to a night out.
