I've spent an hour or more here waiting for a train. It's not a bad place to kill time. My only issue is location - if they were closer to the rest of the Transit Centre they might do a better trade.

I have to agree with the other reviewers here - why does this place always smell bad?

As far as a bar in the city goes the real thing that lets them down (other than the smell) is the bouncers that work here. Maybe I'm just the kind of person they like to target (5'10" and 150lbs - ie, an easy target).

There are plenty of other places to drink in the city.

This place is one of the hidden gems in Brisbane. It you discovered it as a student, you knew you knew the right people, and were on to a good thing.

The food is good, the staff friendly, and the value exceptional. More people should give these guys a visit - it is well worth the effort.

This review is for Three Monkeys Coffee & Tea House, West End QLD

Three Monkeys is a nice little coffee shop in West End. Unlike a lot of the places in West End it is tucked away a bit, which makes for a less trafficked feel.

Depending on your attitude, the place is either cosy or pokey. The service is pretty good - like all cafes it can get busy, and at these times you might have to wait a bit longer. Still, it's not as crazy as some of the places down the road.

A great place to have a beer and watch the world go by. The last time I was there, we sat out in the beer garden. Very relaxing. Very tranquil.

Parking is good, location is good, staff and service are great, they do meals, snacks, have live music and a bottle shop. Pretty much everything you need for a good night out!

A great Irish bar. I've had many a Guinness here. Great for catching up with friends, an after work beer, or any excuse to have a pint. I've met friends and partners here.

The service is good, the staff are friendly, and it has a cosy kind of atmosphere.

This review is for Superbutcher, Yatala QLD

If you are looking for exceptional quality meat, then Superbutcher at Yatala is definitely the place to go. I've been shopping here for years, and the quality, staff and service is second to none.

They have weekly specials, deliver, and often have huge sales (complete with sausage sizzles).

It's definitely worth the trip to see them. Just be prepared to buy more than you counted on!

When I moved into the area, I was delighted to find a burger/chicken place five minutes walk from where I lived. It's in a smallish shopping complex intersected by two busy roads, so I figured it must be pretty good to have lasted (so many of the other businesses in the complex haven't).

I was wrong.

The food is overpriced for what it is. I had a chicken burger meal, and I would have been better off going to KFC or Red Rooster - they would have been cheaper, and tastier. Even McDonalds would have been a better option. The "chicken" on the burger was something you'd find in a tray of a dozen or so in the frozen section of Coles or Woolworths. The chips were poured straight from a bag. The service was slow and the staff seemed like they'd rather be anywhere else.

I initially thought I'd caught them on a bad day, but after returning, it was more of the same. Even their specials are not that impressive - in most cases the savings for buying a meal is practically negligible.

Look elsewhere, as you will definitely find better.

I like the food here. For takeaway Chinese it is pretty good. The staff are friendly, and the quality of the food is good. I'd love to dine in with a large group of people so I can sample more of their food. I don't know why these guys aren't busier!

I'm just going to comment about the beer and the atmosphere. I know they do steaks and meals, but I haven't tried them so I'll limit my review.

The staff here are great. They remember your drink, they suggest drinks, and are always pleasant.

The place is HUGE, and it needs to be. They do a roaring trade. They even have decent parking, which, considering their location, is a wonder.
