WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
We recently moved house and used this company. They have left our brand new townhouse with $2300 worth of damage to brand new floors and $600 damage to a piece of mirrored furniture. As you will see if you read actualy reviews not one's written by themslves...the most common theme - NO INSURANCE! We are now in the process with VCAT and will not stop until we get payment. Consumers do yourselves a favor and share amongst unsuspecting people who may make the same mistake.

I do NOT recommend My Moovers at all. On the day of our move, they came two hours late and with a smaller truck than we asked for. As a result, the move couldn't be completed in one go as planned and they had to call in a second truck, which we had to pay for.

When we spoke to the head offices, they made several excuses. When the mover called us to say he was two hours delayed in his previous move, we called the main office about this and they said they will get a truck in earlier than that. When none showed up at the agreed time, they claimed there is a window for the moving time, even though we weren't told of this during the booking.

When we called to say that a smaller truck arrived than we ordered, the person at the main office insisted it was the 6 tonne truck we asked for, even though we measured it and confirmed with the movers themselves that it was actually a smaller truck.

As a result, we couldn't move all our belongings to our next home on time and in one move, so we had no choice but to call another truck and movers.

No response, feedback or follow up from the head office. They only sent an invoice after I asked for it and didn't respond to any of the issues during the move. Now looking back, I see several similar reviews on this moving company.

3.5 hours for loading disassembled 2 bedrooms and stuff packed and ready to go!!!!!!!!! Tooooo long !!!! And they forced us to pay before off loading !!!!! Horrible!!!!!!

After arriving late, the movers did a great job of moving a 3-bedroom house approximately 10-minutes away. However, getting overcharged for their supposedly 'charge by the minute' rate, and then receiving absolutely no response from Head Office despite sending through multiple emails and calling time and time again, including on the day of the move, is disgraceful. Would never use again and have lodged complaints with the ACCC and CAV. Moving is hard enough, being ripped off my service providers is just crap.

The Removalist were Satisfactory however when unpacking discovered damaged items. Sent photos etc in September 2018 still no response so FUTUIRE CUSTOMERS BE AWARE even though they say have Insurance but don't expect any reimbursement.

they broke my TV aswell! 12 months on and still nothing.. how do they get word of mouth awards with reviews like this! Bullshit i say!

DO NOT ENGAGE WITH MOOVERS. Very bad experience all round, would not recommend to anyone.

I wish I could give zero stars!

They:
• turned up late,
• were incredibly slow to maximise the cost of the move,
• required assistance from my partner on many occasions,
• dropped multiple heavy items,
• DAMAGED items, and
• couldn’t even pack the truck properly to fit all of our belongings.

These people clearly DO NOT HAVE property damage insurance, and hope that you will simply give up on claiming compensation for your damaged goods when they do not pick up or return your phone calls or emails.

The owner should be ashamed of the way he conducts his business - it is unethical, with zero integrity, and not to be trusted.

Save yourself the hassle and a VCAT, Consumer Affairs or Legal case – they won’t pay anyway!
