Showed up in the smallest rental truck Over 3 hours late. The two guys seemed to have no moving experience. Constantly on their phones and FaceTime .

Do yourself a favour and don’t use this company, use someone reputable.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS MOVERS. THEY ARE THE WORST AND CALLS DON'T GET RESPONSE. THEY ARE A NIGHTMARE. COUNTLESS REVIEWS ARE ONLINE. DO NOT USE THEM. EVER!

Spoke to [name redacted] and worked out costings. He was confident and felt that I could count on him. On moving date, Mowers came late, had to ring company to find out where they were. Work/timing were inefficient, had no safety belt, not enough range of allen key. They did not complete packing all items into truck that I had to hire another mover the next day. Don't trust quote EVER. Paid 1027 approx - 827 on card and $200 cash. Do not also hire their packers. Shoddy packing box with their packers are equally inefficient. Took 5 over hours to just pack Kitchen. Pliable boxes and don't understand how to pack or rather lack of respect shown to goods. Fresh food packed with pots resulting in spillage. . Just DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I rang [name redacted] many times as I wanted him to explain what went wrong. He has refused to pick my call. Whilst the COMPLAINTS Dept has instructed me to write in, from other reviews of the same, I am of the opinion nothing will be done to compensate me hence the review. ** Do Not hire this company ** they will even send you a link once payment is made ** do not click as it as a standard review that gets shared on social media forum that is pre-done. So alot of people get fooled. When you see reviews mentioning names in full - please note that this was pre-filled. I did not receive any invoice.

Service cost: A$1,027 not including their packers which is equally horrible. I have photos taken to show how bad they are with spillage etc.

Wrong size truck sent. Had to hire a budget rental truck too! Clearly inexperienced staff. Several items broken the worst being my washing machine where the whole control panel was ripped off and placed back on to hide the damage! Tried to make me pay for their lunch break. $500 more than quoted. You can't complain because they either block your number or put you on hold indefinitely!

DO NOT hire them! NOT professional. NOT experienced.

We had an extensive conversation about exactly how much stuff needed to be moved. We were advised packing on day 1, and then moving and unpacking on day 2 would be the best way to go. They said 2 people and 8 tonne truck would suffice. Move was within the SAME suburb. They were professional right up until the point they showed up.

Day before the packing they were supposed to call by 7pm. They called at 9:30pm to ask how much packing stuff is needed, and we advised them of that.

Day 1 Packing:
- They did not have enough materials for packing so left to go to Bunnings in the middle of everything
- 2 men spent THREE hours packing up a standard sized kitchen.
- They worked for about 8 hours and were not able to pack a 3 bedroom house that had minimal basic stuff, nothing extensive
- When asked for a receipt for materials used, they were not able to produce one but expected payment for materials
- They left stuff unpacked despite working for 8 hours, They're SO SLOW!

Day 2: Moving and unpacking:
- We still needed to pack things, they offered free packaging materials
- They did not provide packers on Day 2 even though half the house was still unpacked
- They AGAIN did not have packing materials so had to go to Bunnings
- Movers tell us they neither pack nor unpack, they just move
- The office had NO IDEA they were supposed to unpack as well despite our agreement
- Movers had to do 2 trips to move all the goods
- We called the company several times to ask for more people to help with packing up, and maybe a second truck because the packing was not done in time
- [Name removed] said he will send another truck but then DIDN'T
- [Name removed] then said a second truck will cost extra
- [Name removed] said the movers will unpack. Movers said they don't do that
- Three of us called the office several times in the afternoon and late into the night, and they REFUSED to talk to us. We were placed onto their "complaints line" and nobody would pick up, OR they would say they'd call back but never did.
- [Name removed] AVOIDED our calls ALL DAY
- We ended up packing up our OWN car to speed up the move

The second truck load was taken to the new house at 11:30 pm. We were told we have to pay the invoice otherwise they will not unload the goods.
[Name removed] was telling the movers not to unload the truck but refused to talk to any of us to sort out the exorbitant invoice. The invoice also included estimated time to finish.

Their website states
""We don't invoice for future payments", and
"Payment for removalists services is to be made on completion of the move",
yet they HELD OUR STUFF HOSTAGE till we pay the invoice and refused to deliver the goods.

We called the POLICE for advice. [Name removed] kept telling the drivers to just take the truck to the depot and unload everything there. He was abhorrent!!! Absolutely disgusting, and utterly unprofessional. He refused to talk to any of us directly. He said "let them call the police. They can't touch my truck. This is a civil matter and the police cannot do anything".

All we wanted to do was clarify their unreasonable invoice prior to payment. The truck then DROVE OFF with our things.

Eventually the truck driver called and we sorted something out so they would at least leave our things at the house.

These guys have NO intention of helping you. The workers move slow to make the most of the hourly rate. Some of the workers are good people and do their best, but their management is phenomenally incompetent, inept, and argumentative.

Instead of helping to make the move easier, the management of this company just repeatedly got in the way.

They didn't even unpack because by the time they finished delivering it was 1am!! We ended up hiring SOMEONE ELSE for unpacking.

DO NOT HIRE THEM! The positive reviews have GOT to be fake in light of how horrendously every little thing was handled in our case. [Name removed] are arrogant and tenacious, and utterly unscrupulous when it comes to dealing with clients.

DO NOT USE!!!
I would never recommend My Moovers to anyone, they were late, smaller truck than ordered, then arranged another truck that never turned up.
8am appointment which was late and could only remove a lounge and 3beds. Told our truck we ordered would be in at 2pm, by 4pm I kept ringing to see when other truck was coming, they stopped answering the phones. I had a whole house to move still at 5pm with NO removalist.
Unprofessional and so disappointing.

I am on hold on my 10th call for last 50 minutes to the so-called [name removed] in the last 2 weeks as I write this, and I am so mad on myself that in a hurry to arrange everything for a smooth move, a person like me got sold to a company like this.

To cut long story short, after apparently common hiccups with this company of arriving at a wrong time (earlier in my case), taking longer than the estimated time and being too slow (I have used movers and I know what professionals are), THEY MANAGED TO DAMAGE MY 75 inch TV!!

We only learned about it when we turned it on later on the same night and on writing to them there was no response so I followed up with a phone call 2 days later when I was finally put to this [name removed] guy who requested sending an email to complaints with photos etc. On doing that, I still didn't hear anything and again called to follow up this time to hear they can't find my job details and hence can't speak to the movers who did the job so there is a delay. On supplying the details they promised to get back soon but again 2 days later I had to call and this time to learn that they can't see any physical damage on the TV so the insurance has denied to cover as it is something internal which may have existed prior.

It is quite evident that something bumped into the TV screen and has caused the damage! Anyway, after some argument, they agreed for me to send new pictures that can more clearly show tiny physical damage at the bottom that makes it evident that something hit the screen at that point.

And here I am now following up again after not hearing back from them and it now seems they are not going to answer my calls anymore.

Do NOT Use!!! They Do not have insurance!!!

They damage half of my goods and not replying to my email, the receptionist is the worst just keeps on hanging up on you every time you call. I been trying to call them and email them for several month now and they just do everything to ignore you!

I don’t even know how the business they are running is legal as they do not have an address so when you have a problem like I do there is no one to speak to or go to, and when you do have a problem the only thing they do is hang up on you…. Many many month later they still didn’t fix my furniture.

Very disappointed. Told they would come at 10am. Then get SMS saying 12. Then at 2 I call no answer then someone rang at 5 and said they would come Monday. What a joke. I would never use these people again. Teribble service.
