always cheap airfares and the stafff on the plane are amazing. such nice people, the flights always go smoothly, they are always willing to top up ur drink or assist in anyway. thuimbs up

I find Virgin Airlines to be the best out of all the airlines because the on board food is cheap and they are pretty reliable. Out of over 100 flights I still prefer to fly with them.

Having traveled a lot by bus in my time, I have always referred to Virgin Blue as the 'flying bus'. It shares a lot of the same discomfort, lack of space, poor service, noise, as a bus, only it gets you there faster (and in some instances a lot faster). If this is what they aimed for (to offer a service equaling a bus service for air travel) then indeed they have succeeded.

I've been flying with Virgin for many years now and only once did they ever run late. By way of apology they provided free movies and free food and drinks for the duration of the flight between Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast. Their staff, both on the ground and in the air are always friendly and professional, and genuinely appear to enjoy their jobs. They do their best to make your flight enjoyable. Once, when flying on my own, I selected a seat right at the back of the plane, not realising that's where unaccompanied children sit. I'm not much of a "children" person, particularly when flying, but I was very pleasantly surprised to see the work the staff put in to ensure the children were occupied for the duration of the flight. I also love that you can check in on-line up to 24 hours in advance of the flight, select your own seats and print out your boarding pass, and then simply drop your baggage at the desk before your flight. Very efficient. And, of course, they were instrumental in getting domestic air fares down to an affordable level in the first place.

I flew from Sydney to the Gold Coast and I was impressed at how friendly the staff were. The low costs and friendly staff made my flight very enjoyable. In future I will happily fly Virgin Blue.

I flew from Melbourne to QLD a few months and I was really happy with Virgin Blue. The staff were very friendly, the take off and landing were very smooth and the hostess were very attractive

I have flown over 25 times with Virgin Blue and have found each experience to be more that great. The difference between Virgin and its competitors is their staff. The ground crew are always helpful, polite and attentive - they let small baggage overweights slip and always make sure you know where you are going (as in which gate lounge). The staff in the Virgin Lounge make you feel very valued and are always willing to assist with odd requests (krispy kreme's delivered to the lounge :D). I find the best feature of Virgin is the flight. You have a team of well trained, attentive, caring and intelligent flight attendants that ensure the flight is an enjoyable one.

Virgin also offers LIVE2AIR which is the only live TV service in the southern hemisphere which means I dont miss my fav foxtel shows. Overall the total experience is what makes Virgin ahead of the competitors - new planes, incredible staff, and great add-ons make them the only domestic airline to travel with.

I like flying with Virgin Blue I think they have great service and a good selection of food should you choose to purchase any. The have a great range of flights too and I always find them to leave on time.
