Great Menu, Great Coffee & Friendly service in a prime location.
The Chef need more organisation skills, seems to pop out to collect food items to make your order on several occasions (this keeps you waiting) but there is no disappointment as it always come out looking and tasting great.

This place is crazy and amazing al in one. Crazy busy and Amazing Fresh seafood
Greg and his staff make you feel special, like you are the only ones that matter. If the know your name (or Not) the always say “HI” even if you are passing in the street. Greg has done an amazing job at creating a Fresh, Healthy menu for Fish & Chip.
Just about everything on the menu can be grilled if you want a healthier alternative to fried. From the fish to the calamari even skewers of prawns, scallops and an array of other seafood delights.
On a warm summers night you are lucky to get a table outside, but people are friendly and don't mind sharing tables with you. Because of this the place is bursting at the seams, queues out the door lots of chatter and laughter, lots of bums on seats, music and aroma fills the air.
Well done Greg, and good luck with the two new shops. Clarendon St South Melbourne & Chapel St.

WoW, this is one of the busiest places in Bay Street.
This Bakery is fast, full of people and has a great arrangement of food available. From a Hot Chicken Schnitzel salad sandwich or a breakfast Egg and Bacon Roll and Coffee through to an amazing selection of Cakes (for 1 of for a celebration).
It's is sometimes hard to get a table and if it's a nice day outside is a great option. The friendly faces of Port Melbourne's community don't mind sharing the bench and will often engage in conversation. It's a refreshing change from some of the more pretentious surrounding suburbs.
Order you food at the counter and it is brought out to you within minutes. Nick, Julie and their family have the right combination to a true successful business.

This is the most amazing place in Victoria Street (Little Asia).
The food is always Hot and Fresh and we have never been disappointed. We have been going to Minh Minh for over 7years and not once have we ever experienced any menu exclusions.
Sandy the Owner and Hostess (with the mostests) is always accommodating and up for a laugh. She greats all her customers with open arms “come in, come in”. Even when the staff are in the middle of cleaning up after a busy night and had to set table after table and the kitchen is packing up, you are still welcome.
The restaurant is very casual and very loud and has a very busy vibe. Besides the main eating area at street level there are 2 rooms upstairs that seat a large number of people.
Great Food, Great Service, Great Price and the best (Sandy) Great Entertainment! Keep up the good work, we always leave laughing.

Taos Restaurant, Bulleen.
I use to live down the road from this magnificent looking establishment, always wanting to visit and experience its unique appeal.
Not until moving some distance away I have been draw back to see what it is all about. Last night was our second visit and again with all its splendour we were wowed with the arrange of the menu selection and delighted by its ambiance.
Our friends could not believe their eyes. We had boasted about this place the first time we went, and last night was no exception. Every dish that was presented to our table was truly a work of art, so impressive that we took photos to show other friends that we are not exaggerating.
The set menu is very extensive and the choice is hard to make as it all seems like a palate delight. With our evening menu selection and the chef's samplers in between, we counted 7 courses.
If it was a special evening of getting a together with friends or a romantic dinner for that someone special, I can't recommend Taos enough. You will be surprised with every plate and again with every bite.

Many month ago we visited your establishment only to be surprised by the its wonder and fabulous food.

On the 22nd October we revisited your newly renovated establishment.
After a very long wait of several months our friend and family joined us to re-experience it's wonder.

With much disappointment and expense we experienced not one bit of enjoyment other than the company of our 8 friends.
Your menu has changed and I appreciate that you are keeping in tone with the seasons.
BUT, why would you remove a well renowned dish that has brought you many customers and was what was the dish that captured us, and other people that raved about.
Yes, the Mariscad. Not only was the dish a palatable delight the serves where generous.

Your new menu is limited and overpriced (for a pub) after all it's the Robert Burns Hotel. (not a restaurant)
Our waiter was inexperienced and could not differentiate between food and beverage when it came to taking our order.
When we received our meals the wait staff had to ask our guest what where they having. The waiter that took the order should have been able to recall whom was having what.

Our night was truly a disappointment.
We asked for the manager on duty. When explaining to him our concerns and our grievances he was very disagreeable to begin with.
After several different guests of ours approached the sensitive topic of dissatisfaction he then agreed.
Your serves for two persons are less than sufficient, and serving a steak on a chopping board is unsuitable.
Including your seafood platter, this could have been enough for one or a sampler for a few. NOT dinner for two.
Our friend ordered a side of chips to give them something of substance in there stomach.
All you sides are extras, how long do you think you will survive charging for a potato to have with a steak. We both know that it's not worth your price tag.
Your agreeable manager was very understanding but that's where it stopped. Not even an offer of complimentary coffee or a reduction in the total bill.

Money NOT worth spent. We could have refused payment as I believe we were well within our right.

On our leaving we discovered that other smaller tables we passed had ordered same items form the menu and their servings where more generous.
So this shows me that your kitchen staff are very inconsistent with the serving.
We also passed the kitchen on our way out. We were told that there was no eggplant on the menu this particular evening.
BUT yet again with much disappointment the display fridge had several eggplant sitting predominantly on display.

Our whole night was a lie, a disappointment, and disgustingly expensive.
As we left your establishment still hungry, we had to stop on our way home to be topped up.

Word of mouth in the past has been favorable only because you were on the right track.
Word of mouth this time around, not in your favor will bring your business to in knees.

I started looking at the Health and Beauty Industry in 2006.
With much disappointment with the negative attitude of most other training colleges, telling me that they don't enrol males, I then came across The Academy.
I had a very friendly conversation on the telephone with a staff member explaining to me that if I was interested in a course that my options where to wait until they had enough males to make up a class (this could take some time) or to enrol in private tuition.
In June 2007 I did my certificate in waxing (general waxing and Men's & Ladies xxx waxing).

I have since completed several other certificates with The Academy. The Academy is a wonderful place that is able to take care of each participant's individual needs. I've been very lucky that where they can, I am placed in a class with others (females) and when they can't I look at the private option. Either way, I manage to leave with more than I expected and new friends in the industry. Private tuition is wonderful as it gets you through a course quickly, efficiently in a one on one environment. But nothing beats a class environment as your peers always have a wealth of worldly knowledge to share.
Working in a niche field of Men's Waxing & Grooming, my business has a lot to thank The Academy for in their ongoing support and finding the right courses for me. I have not taken on any staff but find myself busy enough to keep me going.
I highly recommend The Academy to anyone interested in joining the industry or even someone that is in the industry that needs to brush up on their techniques.
Anyone wishing to take advantage of a course at The Academy, I wish you luck. Keep your eye out I might be in your class.
