The service was great. The workers were very friendly and helpful.
I was extremely disappointed with my purchase, my friend and i had both bout 100grams of truffle brie & stored it correctly all the way back to Sydney but unfortunately the cheese had turned bad and made my family sick.

It was at a nice location, overseeing the Darling Harbour waters. I have been to MW&C twice within 3 months and each time dinner takes 3 hours from start to finish. The food is great but service is way too slow from the kitchen. Ordering is very hard as well as there are not enough wait staff to help us. Both of my visits we had to wave down someone for drinks/sauce or other items.

I fly from Sydney to Phuket Thailand on a 9 hour trip. The flight was half an hour late due to the usuals - a couple onboard had expired passports (idiots being allowed to make it on the plane). We had arrived in Phuket 5 minutes ahead of schedule.

The attendants were nice and friendly, both the Thai and Aussie attendants.

I love the garlic sauce, crunchy fries and the charcoal chicken. The flavours are awesome. At times the output of food is slow when there are heaps of patrons.

The sizes of the mains were MASSIVE, service is bistro style where you order first at the counter and the food came out quite quickly. We ordered 1 main each and 3 entrees which all came out very quickly. The total was $57/5 ppl.

I was at Privilige Bar on a Saturday night around 1030 for a get together. Thank God we had a guest list or the entrance fee was $25 (which i'm glad to pay if the environment is good and there are other patrons).

I had ordered a Corona with lime, not sure if it was due to swine flu in Mexico but the Corona was disgusting as though it was stale or watered down. On a separate note i had a friend have a Corona at Priv the following Saturday and he wasn't happy with it either.

I then ordered a vodka cranberry, i think the vodka brand was disgusting as i didn't finish my drink.
I thought it might've been the cranberry juice or something and chose a vodka lemon lime bitters which was disgusting as well.
My friend ordered a red bull and vodka - same issue BAD
We steered clear of vodka for the night.

Service was not good as the club was still very quiet the bar tenders were crowding around chatting even though there were people at the bar

I would not go to Privilige again on a Saturday if i had to pay for the entry, after midnight the club didn't have many people in there, guys might like it as majority of the patrons were female.

I guess i'd only go on a Friday for drinks after work and when they serve standard quality vodka.

I had a 2 course, entree and main. 2 of my friends had the chef's tasting, 3 entrees and 3 wines.

I had the duck confit with foie gras - delicious!
Barramundi for main - very crunchy fish and yummy salad on the side consisting of asparagus and baby beetroots with heaps of garlic cloves.
Applicious cocktail - little bit strong with the cinnamon vodka but as the iced melted in the drink was yummy ...

the chef's tasting was delicious, filling and cheap at $70. We thought 3 entrees weren't filling but we wre wrong as the third dish was quail it filled the girls up.
First entree was prawn with i forgot the pasta name - the one that looks like chinese wonton; anyways it was crab meat. The prawn was fresh and nicely marinated but the pasta was too thick and unappealing.
The second entree was the duck confit and foie gras.
Third entree was quail and liver, not a fan of the mushiness of liver but the quail was yum!

The accompanying wine sizes were surprisingly gereous, about 1.5 times the starndard serving size and all 3 were beautiful. We ended up going to Alandale's winery to purchase the same wine we tasted at the dinner.

Service, ambience, price all receives big ticks from all 4 of us. With 2 ladies who have high standards and taste

We arrived at De Bortoli 20 minutes before their closing time and had a very good time. The consultant was friendly and very helpful. He let us try a couple more wines that were on a paid tasting list, limit of 2 per payment but we had 4. The wine quality itself were great and easy to drink, we had purchased 3 types of wine totalling 16 bottles between the 4 of us. As we were thinking about the amount of wines to buy we were told if we used Amex we'd get 15% off and because we purchased over 12 bottles we had 20% off.

Plainly would not recommend dinner. But will leave mind open for a yum cha session before this restaurant is completely ruled out. Yum cha might be the restaurants saving grace as i have numerous friends that go there for yum cha and willing to wait for an hour or two for a table.
