The theatre bar is in a great location - it doesn't get better than inside the Sydney Opera House with those awesome views. However it only opens just before a show & during the interval & the service is slow. This means people rush out there during the break to be served in time, because once you're in the queue, you don't get anywhere fast. They could do with a little more variety, unless you're after alcohol, of which they have plenty of choice.

The location & views are sensational, & it's a great place to meet up before a show for drinks or a meal. Unfortunately the customer service is a bit off, but once you are served, the food comes out quickly. The food was reasonable, but it's all about the location here. That's what makes it.

If you're planning on going to Cairns, you have to do the Great Barrier Reef! We chose to do the Sunlover cruise (but there are others too), & did the glass bottom boat package with the snorkel. It was a magical day & the food that they put on throughout the day is defiantely welcome. It's a great experience, & it lasted the whole day so even though it was very pricey, it actually worked out to be well worth it.

This place is brilliant! While I was having a massage, my wife was having a facial. Both of us emerged relaxed, glowing & refreshed. It was a great way to end our holiday in Cairns & their massages are excellent. It was a bit pricey but you expect that when you're on holidays.

We recently stayed at the Shangri-La in Cairns & wandered down to the marina for breakfast. We ended up having a buffet breakfast at North. The food was fresh & different, with an asian theme, as well as all of the usual pastries & cooked breakfast ingredients. They also had a bar where you could order an omlette & they would add all of the ingredients you wanted & bring it out to you. The service was excellent, & the view over the marina, watching the boats go in & out was so relaxing. A great start to the day!

The Tides is all about taking your time to enjoy the view & the food. The chicken breast & angel hair pasta is tasty, & if you're up for desert, try their cheescake. The only downside is the food is all very gourmet so send your kids down the road, because there's not much for them.

On a clear day, the views are spectacular! I take anyone who's new to Brisbane up here, for a good feed & a good view. It's usually fairly busy on the weekends, but the food is excellent & there's plenty of choice, whether you want an ice cream on a hot day or a 3 course meal in their restaurant - it's all there!

There's really nothing to rave about here. The customer service is average, you can be standing out the front of their booth for 5 minutes before being served, they have limited space for change rooms so it's a bit clumsy all round. They are fine with taking up & mending clothes but for the time they take, the price is a mismatch.

We went to Marion Locksmiths to have a set of 4 Pewter goblets engraved. They did a brilliant job of the lettering, & it was surprisingly affordable. I would definately recommend their engraving service.

Cruisy dining experience, you can bring your dog & enjoy a chicken parma outside. They will make sure your dogs happy & fed too, along with a dish of water by your table.
