Stumbled across this quaint website. It's absolutely adorable. French inspired (French provincial décor) and fell in love. From the bedroom to the living room there are pieces to finish off the look in your home. Really well priced as well. Absolutely stoked with my new cushions and small mirror, my room is now complete! Though its only online the delivery is super fast as they only advertise what they have in stock. Give them a go!

Accidentally paid bill to the wrong account code. Phoned them as soon as the payment went through and i realised it was a mistake. Was told everything would be fine. 2 weeks later Optus phoned to say they needed proof I made the payment. I sent them the info by fax. 2 weeks later our phones (we have 2 phones on one account) were barred as the $175 was not paid on our account. Phoned them up and they acknowledged an error & asked if I could send through proof of payment again & and turned our phones back on. 2 weeks later again phones barred. AGAIN optus apologised. Said there was miscommunication between departments. Asked f I could send through proof of payment again (3rd time!).

So furious with what was happening I went on the website and clicked on complaints. Wrote everything that had happened with all the supporting documentation of incorrect account code as well as the correct account code. Received an email back saying they can't help me because I do not know the personal information of the wrong account (eg name and pass code) and to contact them once I find it out. By this stage our contracts had been cancelled by Optus.

Called Optus and was told it was a computing error and we would need new SIM cards. This was at 4pm on a Friday. Got the new sims and one was activated immediately yet the other was not. Called Optus and asked why. Was told sim was faulty and I would need to get another. Was then called back to say sorry but they had not activated it yet and it's not faulty. They also asked if we could send the documentation again.

Was so furious I phoned the ombudsman first thing Monday. By Wednesday senior management phoned and apologised. So far phones are still on.

What a joke! Contract is up in November. We will be switching away from Optus!

Been going to Beaches for 9 years. They are fantastic. We have been recommending them to everybody. Only boarding kennel who let us check them out at anytime of day when we were looking for the perfect doggy vacation. (Showed us they had nothing to hide). You have a choice of a normal run or can upgrade to a cabin equipped with bed, tv and DVD and Air con as well as own grassy ensuite! Dogs are teamed up with a suitable "buddy" and play together and visit each other in runs (with owners agreement). They have the day planned out with treats, activities - even optional swimming in the doggy pool! Our pooch is always sad to leave! Fresh water is never a worry with an automated water dispensing system.

In 2007 I was unexpectedly hospitalised while my husband was away. Beaches came and picked up my keys, collected my dog and took him to the kennel! On my discharge the returned him again via their transport service with photos of his holiday!

Beaches looks after their loyal regular patrons like no other business. Check out their website as they surely are amazing!

Love the fact I can bring my dog into the store to fit him for collars etc. They are defiantly in the business of animals not humans, as they understand the products they sell and are able to assist measuring my dog for the correct halti. Best in Townsville.

Sit on the deck with the ocean splashing beside you is wonderful. Great atmosphere and amazing cocktails! Food is amazing also. I take interstate visitors here whenever they come to visit. They all love it!

We USED to love this place. We order home delivery once a fortnight. Recently there has been a change in either management or ownership and this has hugely effected the service and menu items. Our last order a fortnight ago had undercooked garlic bread (it used to be crispy and wood fired) and the garden salad which used to be with a nice and light white balsamic dressing was drenched in brown balsamic to the point of soggy lettuce and one piece of cucumber two pieces of tomato and two pieces of onion. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Tonight we called up at our usual time 18:30 and was informed our home delivery will take 2 hours as there was 4 orders (not car loads, but single orders) in front. We had to go elsewhere. What a shame! We had been loyal patrons for over 5 years! Before these 2 incidents I would have said this place is amazing, however I now cannot recommend to anyone.

Placed an order for 4 books on 12/4/2013. It stated they were all in stock. Checked online 23/4/13 and order was still "processing". Emailed my complaint and 6 hours later 1/2 my order has finally been dispatched. 2 of the items are still "processing" yet still available and instock both online and in the stores.

DON'T BOTHER ORDERING ONLINE FROM QBD. It's faster to buy from overseas eg. Fishpond or the book depository. How it takes 11 days to locate 2 "instock" products and dispatch is baffling! - even worse I am still waiting for the other 2 to be dispatched. I went in to my nearest QBD and spoke to the manager. Thier service is so much better, they even offered to let their state manager know!

Waste of time!

They were great. They came in half hour early on a Saturday morning because I was in despatate need of an alignment.

The next time I came in I got 4 new tyres fitted and aligned within 40mins. I did not even book!!!

Not traditional Mexican in anyway. Who puts shredded lettuce on nachos and then cooks it? Went there with some friends who raved about this place so we were excited to try it. It was cramped too loud and a very long wait. Cocktails were fantastic however the rest was a disappoint. Australianised Mexican food more than anything else. Since its the only Mexican place in Townsville (the chain is) many people know nothing else. 😔

Food and menu variety has gone down hill over the last few years. The steaks are now of a cheaper cut and the veggies are often cold. The bar and gaming area is still great though if you want to make a night of it and Friday night pumps
