This place offers delicious Japanese food with generous serving. The yakinabe was wonderful. A lot of seafood in the soup and the broth tastes rich and sweet. Very good service too.
This use to be one of my favourite place to get lamb souvlaki place. I went there a couple of days ago and was deeply disappointed I will never go there again. The lmab was very very super salty and dry.
Lovely pizza. Good value for money as they are not skimpy on the topping. Especially love the Chicky babe pizza. The pastas are a bit bland for my liking.
This is quite a busy Indonesian restaurant. Pretty small place and usually packed with students. The tripe fried rice is quite popular as well as the grilled chicken. There are also some soup dishes, most are coconut milk based and very popular. It's called Soto. Quite a good variety of Indonesian food but the last time I went, it took 1 hour for our food to arrive. I think they sort of forget about us. But overall, the food is not quickly served anyway
The place is only open from 11.30 pm to 2.30 pm Mon to Fri. It offers a variety of sushi rolls as well as chicken teriyaki, beef curry, tempura and chicken karaage. The prawn tempura is quite popular and usually runs out if you come too late. Too bad it's only open during such time during the day.
I think that Walrus is one of the best Chinese restaurant in Melbourne providing mostly cantonese influenced dishes. They give soup and dessert for free and both are delicious. The stir fried vegetables are cooked to perfection. The stuffed scallop and fried chicken ribs are very very good. Their barbeque selection is also not disappointing. Fresh seafood. You can choose which one you'd like to eat.
I love all their fried food. I usually order the bento. The pork chop addiction and pop chicken are delicious, I don't even know what they put in it to make it taste that good. THey're cruncy yet tender and moist inside. THe bento box also comes with springrolls and dipping sauce. It is always busy especially during lunch and dinner time so you'd want to come early.
Approximate cost: $12.50
They sell a variety of food, from frozen yumcha to cooked to order food. I ordered the barbeque pork which does not taste like the ones I have tried before. It tasted like cooking wine and that's it. The roasted crispy pork was tasteless. Service was really bad. The girl at the counter did not listen to my request to put the sauce separately as I do not like my meat wet. When I complained, the meat guy who chops the meat and the girl made faces and just tipped the sauce over, leaving me with sogyy barbequed pork nevertheless.
My sweet tooth and bingeing heaven. They sell discounted lollies, chocolates and even chips. Some products almost reach their expiry dates because they are priced to clear. But I don't really mind since I usually finish what I buy within days.
Tasty fish and chips. Service was quick and friendly. Good selection of fish and other fried items. I usually order the grilled fish which is not overly cooked and still juicy but not runny
