Rockford's Alicante Bouchet is by far one of the better ros(ay)e's that I've ever tasted! If you have no idea about wine, then don't start with this one. It's like starting with the best and most expensive and working backwards. You just won't appreciate the cheaper wines.
Other than this rose, there are plenty of other excellent wines on offer. Their Basket Press Shiraz is apparently really good. I haven't tried to to date because every time I go there it's sold out! Although I did pick up a nice bottle of black shiraz which is a sparkling red which I am yet to uncork. Soon I hope!

My optometrist here is Dr Renee Malingre.
He's great with his vocation. Uses some of the old school techniques in complement to many of the new tech gadgets. I subscribed here to a special contact lens called Ortho-K. He was good with his service and got me what I needed quickly. They took the time to show me what to do and how to care for the contacts. The other staff there are very friendly and willing to help in all ways possible. They'll let you know for sure every discount available to you and any government concessions.

She's a dermatologist well recommended!
Knowledgeable and wise, she knows what you need dermatologically for all skin conditions. If she isn't sure, then she'll try everything till she finds a solution.

You're always trying to think of somewhere to take that someone special for those special times? Well think no more! Here is the perfect location to spend that special time with that special someone!
Am I saying special too much? Maybe it's because I think this place is FANTASTIC! Comparable to the Windy Point Restaurant, this place has great food, service and location. And it's higher up!
Went there once for Valentine's day with my special someone and they had a free glass of bubbles on arrival. What a nice gesture and we hadn't even sat down! But then again, we booked. Coz if you didn't book, you wouldn't have got a seat. Haha.
Dress nicely for this place, but warmly if you're going on a cool night. The heights make for a chilly breeze.

It's one of those places that you would love to visit, and when you get there it's just "meh".
It's good, but there's nothing that really makes it stand out of the crowd. You see people there all the time enjoying themselves and you think how nice it would be to go there and eat. Then you get there and you're not that impressed.
But overall, I wouldn't say it's bad. They have good food and great service. The alfresco dining experience is good too.

If you go when there's fireworks at other locations, you really get to know how small fireworks really are!
The dining experience was fantastic. You get dressed up and nice and they treat you like a veritable patron. Sirs and Maams aplenty. Excellent tasting notes in their food, commendations to the chef! An extensive drinking list as well as an outstanding location. Well worth the effort. And that's just the cafe!
Wait till you upgrade to the restaurant! It's a lot more pricey, but sooooo worth it!

It's apparently one of those fine dining experiences not to be missed, and the service was fantastic, so we didn't miss it and went.
Their serving sizes were decent, they had this waiter come over and serve you pieces of cooked vegetables to go with your mains. I guess it's fancy, but wouldn't it be better to serve the vegetables with the main?
Was a bit over the top. But at the end of the day we were satisfied.

What can I say but that I loved this place!
The atmosphere, the settings, the whole dining experience!
It's a formal place, yet you won't feel too out of place if you just go there with casuals on.
I had this beef dish which was surprisingly soooo tender and delicious! Well recommended.

Differing from what other reviewers have said, this place appealed to us at first. We did get good service and it was fairly prompt with the food. However, like other people have indicated, the serving sizes are quite delicate. If you are a big eater (and I have had a few comments about this regarding some other people that visited here) then you'll have to order many mains. And for the prices they charge, it's not recommended.
Also, they have their own dessert chef! You'd think this was a good thing right? Wrong. The desserts were ordinary and not at all that good tasting. For a quarter of the price, go to Dairy Bell just down the road a bit and get yourself a massive ice cream that tastes and looks infinitely better!
But I went there a long time ago. Probably a few years now. May have changed... I reserve my judgement.

Ok, so I bought my house through them.
The agent I was dealing with was actually Mr Walter, so you would expect quality goodness. I did receive this all through the buying process as is expected. He negotiated with me on a professional level, stated everything that I needed to know and made sure I was kept up to date with developments.
But at the end of the day, after he had made the sale, there was no more contact. No after sales service whatsoever! I had to call him to get answers! That and I had to visit the office to get my keys. The sign wasn't taken away till I physically pulled it down and then had to call them to remind them to remove the sign.
Working in the real estate industry myself, I know the importance of good customer service. And this place disappointed.
