Lighting is such a personal thing if you wish to think about it. I liked something in his window and so investigated and purchasesd a fixed light for a modern room. The amount of stock is not great in this shop but the gentleman was most helpful in working out with me what I really needed. Parking is a hassel in peak hours but other than that this was a good experience and the gentleman and staff can make sure you are on the right track to get what you need as well as want for lighting purposes. I found the bulbs to be more expensive but by the time you spend money and time going elsewhere then it is worth it to pay the extra few dollars.

Seems to be a glut of these places around. This is takeaway only and the music is inviting enough but genunines good service and product with not an overload of rice and gentle flavourings. I am into warm or fried sushi and this can be accommodated but if you are in a hurry then there 7.30am offerings of salmon - soft shell crab or chicken teryaki is good and worthy of a try for a decent price.

Have been to this car wash for some years. Now $25 for wash and internal vacuuming inclusive of window and dash board clean and wipe. No special treatments but for my old bomb this is sufficient to keep her feeling good. The guys are quick and efficient and most times are very detailed in their finished product and quick depending on the hours you go there. Good care taken and as a local I enjoy supporting them. Cafe for the coffee available and a quick look at the papers if that is you

Approximate cost: $>$25

While this chemist is part of a big chain, I want to give honour where it is due. Now in product lines there may be cheaper BUT the team behind the counter of the pharmacy is second to none. I have been going here for 5 yrs and never have I NOT found service beyond great. The young and the older team always have an ear, patience and kindness and lots of experience which they are careful to monitor to each individual. The older gentlemen are just so gracious in service and there willingness to impart to you the benefit of thier years is wonderful and so helpful. Try them. You won't be disappointed in such a busy environment

This review is for Jetstar Airways, Melbourne VIC

The old adage " you get what you pay for" is very real in this instsance. I do not criticise a business for putting it out there. BUT I wanted to make known from my point of view what is the real scenario of this airline. I travel from Sydeny to Melbourne or north to Brisbane only a few times a year to see family. I have osteo arthritis and do not walk with ease. On my last visit to Melbourne, I went to find out if I could get a lift in a golf buggy that is provided at the airport. I was told it was only available to QANTAS clients. The boarding gates for JETSTAR at all airports are so far removed from the front door of a domestic terminal that if you run a few minutes late you have no chance of getting there in a hurry. I asked when booking a ticket if there was access to the plane via the short tunnels and not the stairs. THe reply was " we never know and I have been constantly caught out having to wait for the assistant to accompany me onto the lift system to access the plane because I could not climb the stairs. I have flown qantas and the difference in mentality of service is quite noticeable if you are only going to fly jetstar. It is more of " WELL WHAT DO YOU EXPECT type of service on JETSTAR. I must say that I never found any rudeness by staff on JETSTAR. TO be honest, the prices do indicate the above quite well but for people with physical needs, I would not go JETSTAR. Their competition at VIRGIN is far superior.

Needed a part for my stove. Got charged $22 for a piece of plastic knob. Went up the road for a generic same part and was charged $10. I then ordered on line for less than what the store up the road offered the parts to me for. It is a journey to find a price that fits the value of your goods today. I was not impressed by the service nor the communication style. I am sure this store has provided service for 35 yrs and the parts it provides are genuine but I fail to see how that one could pay for a few pieces of plastic when the whole item needing replacement parts is less than the sum of the plastic parts. I would not be interested in going back to this store. It is, in my opinion geared more for mobile parts tradesmen than for the public

WHILE THE TINY STRAND ARCADE SHOP IS THE PLACE MOST PEOPLE KNOW, THE FACTORY WAREHOUSE AT WATERLOO IS MY PICK BECAUSE OF PARKING AND SOME SLIGHT SECONDS AT REDUCED PRICES. I LOVE THE VIENA ALMONDS SINCE 40 YRS AGO BUT ALSO AT CHRISTMAS FOR THE BIG TABLE BUY A 2 KG BOX OF ASSORTED MILK AND DARK CHOCOLATE SECONDS FOR $70 AND HAVE FOUND THESE TO BE JUST AS GOOD AS THE 1KG FOR THE SAME PRICE. A LOVELY LADY WHO IS AN INSTITUTION IN THE PLACE HELPS NO END AND THE SPACE IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE CITY MIN SHOP. CHOCOLATE IS DEFINITELY EUROPEAN IN STYLE BUT HAS ADAPTED OVER THE YEARS TO BRING LASTING FLAVOUR AND QUALITY

Again this is not your small group of bakeries but it indeed has the DNA of such. $1.10 and upwards a roll but there is substance without the smell of sourdough in this bread. One roll fills and is able to invite all filling that are not to chunky as it is filling in itself without being too heavy. Not into fly away rolls that turn to dough balls in your mouth. The sevice is quick and efficient and its popularity means you don't get yesterdays. Nutrition is good so that I don't feel as if I am giving second rate goods when we do the friends with the barbie scene.

I know this is not your little chocolate shop but felt I could add something to the mix of palates that speak into this place. I do not like sweet chocolate nor bitter. I prefer a texture that is stronger than say a LINDT brand but not an almost strong crunchy bite in your mouth type of chocolate. I like the chocolate to not overwhelm the added flavours of which a caramel bar is one of my delights. I love a gentle marshmellow with this choc and the covered nuts are also a treat. Not cheap but not nasty and I would always order and pay when it comes to peak times like mothers day or easter or christmas and pick up outside of the peak hours. You can pick up a lovely little mixed gift bag of your choice for under $20

I have to give this mob a wrap. When I can afford a special little bit of good pastry or bread I go to this SONOMA. I know Dank St and Alexandria have them but if you can fit into this shop then you got to be quick to get what you want. I like the apple cinamon muffins and used to get the blueberry and coconut pies. I find selling out in a day is the best when it comes to baking goods. A delight to your taste buds but getting a bit expensive for me
