This review is for The Town Traders, Invermay TAS

I have been into town traders a couple times and have found a lot of there items are over priced for being secondhand. They do sell some stuff that is reasonable price but not a lot. The consoles games a very over priced. The store itself is very cramped as there is a lot of stock in the store. I found the staff are helpful if you ask for help but most of the time they leave you to browse the store by yourself. They sell both secondhand and new items but mostly secondhand.

My family and I have been shopping at Goodys foodmarket for many years now. We love being able to go and buy bulk items at great prices. They sell all sorts of household goods like pet food, laundry items, frozen food, lollies, biscuits, sauces and lots more. Not everything that is sold at Goodys is bulk, there is a lot of normal everyday grocery items as well. I love buying their allens 1.3kg bags of lollies and also their big boxes of chicko rolls. They have great specials on a weekly basis. The staff are very friendly and helpful and Goody himself is always willing to stop and have a talk with you. There is plenty of parking out front. Since moving to the mainland i have missed shopping here for all my bulk groceries.

This review is for The Victoria Hotel, Melbourne VIC

I have stayed at the victoria hotel on many occasions over the last 12 years and always found it to be very accommodating for all sorts of people and budgets. You can get a budget room which is a basically a room with a bed and shower facilities, these are also smoking rooms. You can get what they call a heritage room which is a more modern room with plasma tv, ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and lots more. These rooms are non-smoking. I have always found both rooms to be clean. Our favourite thing about victoria hotel would have to be the full buffet breakfast that the hotel offers with room packages or can be brought for about $16 pp. The food is absolutely beautiful.

I took my daughter here for a hair cut and wasnt till we got home and her hair was dry that we realised the hairdresser and cut her hair crooked and it was really noticeable. I rang them back up and told them. We were told to take her back the next day and they would fix it up. They may have fixed it up the next day but they tried to charge me for the second hair cut. I plain out refused to pay as it was their fault that we had to go back a second time. I would never go back here again

Approximate cost: $18 for childs cut

Crafty critters in an excellent shop for all your craft needs. They sell a huge range of craft items. My daughter will spend ages in here looking at all the different scrapbooking items. As well as selling craft items they also have a coffee shop at front of the store which sells small meals and drinks. So while kids are looking around store you can sit and relax with a coffee or something to eat. The store is a little on the small side and can get a bit cramped sometimes but the items make up for that.
The craft items can be a bit expensive but you dont mind paying a little extra for the quality items you are getting. All the staff are very helpful and quick to help you.

we took our daughter here last year and i think it is very expensive. My daughter and her father spent $50 on claw machines and only got one toy out of them. The $50 was gone in less than 10 minutes. Apart from being expensive they do offer a great range of arcade games as well as laser tag and bowling. I found the staff were not very helpful and you had to wait a long time for one to serve you.

I having been going to this doctors surgery for the last 25 years and have rarely had a problem. There is about 10-12 doctors that work there as well as 2 nurses that assist. I have 1 certain doctor i prefer to go to but all the doctors are very thorough and very good listeners. Some of the doctors are hard to get an appointment for but most times if you tell them its urgent they will try their best to accommodate your needs. All the doctors are good with kids. I do find the receptionists can get a bit rude over the phone but when it is a busy time i just put down to being rushed off their feet. Even though we have moved from Launceston i still visit my doctors eveytime i come back for a visit because i dont want to lose my spot there because it is such a good surgery

birchalls offer a great range of books, stationary, toys, dvds and gifts. I find there books are a bit dearer than a few other books stores in launceston but i find it convenient to shop there as i can grab my stationary needs as well as toys whne they are on special. Staff are extremely helpful and sotre is always well stocked. If they do not have the book you are looking for the will order it in and let you know when it comes.

This review is for Cunningham's Buy And Sell, Mowbray TAS

verified email - 12 Oct 2012

I have been into Cunningham's buy and sell a lot over the years but last few time i have been shocked with the prices they are charging. Cunningham's sell secondhand console games, consoles and dvds. Over the years i always found the store to be cheap but not now. The console games are nearly the same price as it is to buy them new. The store is overstocked and gets very crowded in there when more than couple of people. Staff are nice but store would be better if they dropped the prices a fair bit.

I had never of burger got soul till a friend took me there for tea one night. Did i get a shock. I have never see burgers so big. There is 20 different sorts plus 4 different types of rolls. I tried the sweet chilli chicken roll and it was really nice. I did have to cut it in quarters to be able to eat it as it was so big. I could not finish the whole thing i was to full.
They also sell mini burgers for kids as well as chips. You sit down in store and eat or takeaway. The store was clean and staff really friendly.
