I have been to harbour town multiple times over last few years. When it first open there was heaps of cheap shops but last 2 times i have been there the shops arent very cheap at all. The last time we went was on late afternoon on a Friday. We planned on looking around to fill in time before meeting my partner after the football. After half and hour we had looked at all the shops that were open(which wasnt many) so we decided to go get something to eat. We were disgusted by the eating area. There was rubbish all over the ground, the tables hadn't been cleaned down and had rubbish and food all over them. We decided to leave and find food else where. Was very disappointed overall with harbour town

I shopped here for the second time today and found the meat very nice. We purchased hamburgers, rissoles and 5 types of chicken kebabs. My daughter loved the honey soy kebabs and she is a fussy eater so thats saying something. The meat was set out very well in the fridges with names and prices on everything. you can buy a items individually or packets of items. There prices are very reasonable for the quality meat they sell. The store is well set out and extremely clean. When shopping in there today I was told i could buy whole lambs off them and that it works out a lot cheaper than buying it in packs. Also that they can cut up the lamb to what ever i wanted free of charge. The staff are very helpful and friendly. will definitely shop here again

My family and I stayed here for nearly 2 weeks about 3 years ago. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was really comfortable. The apartment had everything you needed such as utensils, linen, dishwasher tablets, washing machine/dryer 2 bathrooms, flat screen tv, dining table, couch and lots more. The apartment was very clean. There was a balcony on each room plus one off lounge room. It was amazing waking up and sitting on balcony with breakfast watching the whales in the ocean. The hotel has a heated indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna, spa, tennis courts, bbq areas and a gym. All this was available to use at no cost. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us a lot of information on what to do on the gold coast and how to get to everything. We spent a lot of time in the indoor pool, as a lot of people go to the beach most of the time you can have the whole swimming pool and spa to your self. The hotel/apartments in 2 minute walk from the beach ans is very close to surfers paradise

I have stayed here a few times over the last 2 years and have always found it to be clean, friendly staff and very cheap place to stay. It is a backpackers hotel but can suit all sorts of people from backpackers to families. prices start from about $24 for a 4 person dorm share room to about $140 for a family room. I have stayed in a dorm share room which has 2 bunks, each bed has a curtain to provide some privacy. Also stayed in a double room which consists of a double bed, ensuite and air conditioning and heating. The rooms are basic but for the price the are excellent value. It has a bar where you can relax for a drink and also offers free breakfast, rice, pasta, tea and coffee in the communal kitchen. Only thing i could fault was it does get a bit loud on weekends when it is pretty much full.

Ski rides offer a huge range of activities like the water slide, wake boarding, tube rides, ski lessons, big banana rides and you can also hire out canoes, fishing boats and the barby pontoon. Our whole family spends hours down at the water slide over summer. The prices are really good as well. It is 70 cents a ride, 10 rides for $6 or an hour for $15. We find if the water slide isn't to busy the hr pack is the best value but if it is busy you are best to go for 10 rides for $6. The water slide is well supervised with someone always at the top of slide and the bottom. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can also hire the slide out for party's at a extra cost.

I use to call into this store on the way to work of a morning and was always very happy with the service i received. The fried food was alway nice and fresh but when it came to sandwiches or rolls the bread always tasted stale. I mentioned to staff and they didnt seem to happy about it. I went in there again to find the same thing again so i stopped going there.

This review is for Queen Victoria Museum And Art Gallery, Launceston TAS

My daughter and i would visit the museum on a regular basis when we lived in Tassie and we always enjoyed ourselves. It is one of the only places in Launceston you can go for basically no cost. Some exhibitions do cost a little bit but not much at all. Majority of the museum is free to look at. There is a gold coin donation box as you walk in if you want to give a donation. We love going into the Phenomena factory, looking at the dinosaur collection and looking at older day machinery. Our favorite thing to do is the phenomena factory as there is so many educational activities to do. I like the coke bottle spaceships, where you press a button to fill the bottle up with pressure then it counts down like a proper spaceship launch, then it takes off. You can spend a whole day at the museum and still want to look some more. While looking around we always stop and have something to eat at the cafe and sit outside where there is more equipment kids can explore.

My partner and I have taken our daughter here a few times since it opened but i have only played once. I found it to be to small and if there was more than 2 families in there you had to wait a long time for groups to move to next hole. It can get very cramped as well. The whole 18 wholes is far to small and doesnt take very long to get around it all so for the $12 adult and $10 kids it really isnt worth it. I do like the fact that they have a coffee and snack machines and sitting so if you dont want to play you can sit, have a coffee and watch.

Approximate cost: $12 adults

This news-agency would have to be by far one of the best newsagents i have shopped at. I have been in there a few time to purchase tickets from their ticketek agency and the staff are always extremely helpful when buying tickets. They will try and get you the best available tickets to what ever show you are going to. The newsagency stocks a great range of magazines, papers, books, stationary and lots more. They also sell a range of scratchies and lotto. The staff are always cheerful and love having a chat with everyone. The store is well presented and everything is easy to find. The store is quite big and is always clean.
