House of spuds would have to make the best jacket potatoes i have ever tasted in my life. My favourite jacket potato that they sell is the curry chicken one. The curry in it was so creamy and tasty. The only problem is you can only get this one every now again when its on the special board. From the normal menu i like half ploughman half roma. the prices are very reasonable for the size of jacket potato you get. I dont find the staff to be very friendly though they make it seem like you arent welcome. The store is always extremely clean

for 4 years i shopped at this bakery nearly on a daily basis if not every second day. The girls that work there were always very accommodating to what we needed and were always extremely friendly. On many occasions during winter we would go into the shop with muddy boots on (from working in a vineyard)which would make the floors dirty and not once did they complain at us. They were always understanding and told us not to worry about it. They sell the nicest foods especially there cheese and bacon pasties and curry chicken pies. They have a great range of slices, cakes, hot food, drinks and lollies.
I dont think i have ever found another shop with such great customer service

I have shopped at Dominiques twice since moving to Yarrawonga and have been pleasantly surprised at how helpful and friendly their staff are.
The first time I went there they had a big sale on and i brought some really nice items for my daughter for her birthday for half the price they normally would be. When paying, the atm played up so they couldnt tell if the money had come out of my bank or not. The man told me it was ok for me to leave and if the money hadnt shown up in their account within a week they would contact. When i got home and checked the bank i realised the money hadnt come out so i rang them and told them. The man said to bring the money in the next day. On explaining that I was going out of state for 2 weeks they just said to bring it in when i got back. Now i thought that was really good of them. Thats what i call good customer service.
They have a great range of jewellery for all ages. The store was well set out so it was easy to look at the jewellery with out being cramped. They offer jewellery repairs, clock repairs, engraving and lots more. The staff are always willing to help with your choice and are very patient with children that are choosing items.

I have been into this store a few time but as of yet have not brought anything as i find their items to be a little expensive. They do stock a great range of afl items including clothing, gifts, framed items and lots more. As well as afl item the also sell nrl items as well. The store is always well stocked and clean. The staff are always helpful and tell you about the stock they have and will be getting in.

This review is for Food On Merino, Kings Meadows TAS

food on merino sell a range of frozen foods at wholesale prices. They sell fresh and frozen seafood, dairy products, eggs, poultry, icecreams, pastries and lots lots more. I would regularly visit food on merino when i lived in tassie to buy their potato cakes. They were the only potato cakes my daughter would eat. Some of their items can be a lot cheaper then the supermarkets especially when they have sales on. Another thing i brought a lot of was frozen raspberries to make jam out of. They were only $6-$7 for a kg.
I didnt like their frozen seafood as it had a funny taste and texture to it. The store always smelt very fishy as well.

My daughter and I use to love going into bon appetit for lunch whenever we were in town. They offer a great range of food. They do meals, snacks, sandwiches, wraps, salads, deep fried, and also breakfast.
The last time we were there we got the cabonara pasta and chicken parma. My daughter is a fuzzy eater but she thought the meals were delicious and ate the whole chicken parma as well as trying some of the cabonara. From what I can remember each meal was about $8-$10 with a drink which i thought was a good price. In all the times i have been here i have never had a problem with their food or their service. I found the staff to be really nice.

Allgoods is your one stop camping, fishing, bush-walking, work wear and footwear shop. I have brought many items from here over the years especially boots and wet weather gear. I have always found the items to be of good quality but can be a little more expensive than other places. Staff are helpful if you ask for help but other wise they leave you alone to browse the store. I like how the store is set up in sections. So you can just walk straight to what you need instead of looking through the whole store. The store is quite large and is always well stocked. You can pick up some stuff really cheap when they have sales especially last years stock. They also sell bbqs, outdoor furniture, army disposals and i think a small range of above ground pools from what i can remember. They have a vip club card which entitles the holder to 5% off regular price and accumulate points as well.

This review is for Carline Mufflers & Auto Service Centre, Launceston TAS

verified email - 22 Oct 2012

I took my car here a few years back and at the time i was very pleased with them. I took my car there to have the cv joints done and to have the muffler part under the bonnet fixed. This part had been welded by another mechanic to temporarily fix it till i could afford to get it fixed 2 weeks later. So i decided to take my car to carlines as i had heard they were good and cheap. I left my car there for the day and when i got back they had fixed the cv joints but said there wasnt anything wrong with the muffler and that other mechanic had told me a load of crap basically. As a female and not knowing much about cars i believed them. Over the next 3-4 weeks i continued driving my car thinking everything was ok with it. I soon found out it wasn't. when I took it to another mechanic after hearing the same noise i was hearing before my car was fixed he was very surprised and shocked. When he looked at the muffler part under the bonnet, the muffler was cracked and pretty much just sitting there by a little piece of metal and all the fumes had been coming back into the car. I actually went home that afternoon and became quite sick. I had a touch of carbon monoxide poisoning from driving around with car fumes in my car. So from that day forth i refused to take my car back to carlines and always tell people not to take there cars there.

This review is for Tinnies Pies, Kings Meadows TAS

verified email - 22 Oct 2012

I have only been into Tinnies pies twice as the pies are a little bit expensive for my taste. But in saying that they are worth the money you pay for them if you love pies. When i went there i had a chicken mornay and a curry chicken. Both were absolutely beautiful in taste and fillings. The pies are quite large compared to most bakeries and you can actually see the meat when you bite into it, unlike a lot of places you only get a few pieces of meat in each pie. The staff were nice and helpful when it came to choosing what you wanted. The store was nice and clean and you could sit down and eat inside or out outside on balcony. You can also order takeaway. As well as pies they also sell pasties, sausage rolls, vege pasties and deserts. I would say they are the best pies in Launceston and if you love your pies and don't mind paying a little extra for quality then this is the place to go.

This review is for Italian Pizza House, Launceston TAS

verified email - 22 Oct 2012

Italian pizza house would have to sell the best pizzas in the whole of Tasmania. They are so delicious. They taste like proper pizza not the cardboard ones that you get from dominos or pizza hut. They are overloaded with toppings. The last time we ordered from there we got a seafood one, meatlovers, and a chicken one and i would say the seafood one was the nicest but im bias to seafood. They all were really good. They do cost a lot more than what big pizza places charge but i think they are better value and a by far better tasting. As well as pizza they also sell Tasmanian made gelati ice-creams and pasta. You can sit down and eat in their cafe, take away or have it delivered at a cost. They are open late on most days. From what i remember from last order i think it was around 3 pizzas for $50 delivered
