I use to love going to melbourne just so i could go to melbourne market but not these days. I find the market has the same items nearly in each aisle just different prices. you use to be able to get some really good bargains there but nowadays the stalls are either the same price as what you can get the item in a store or dearer. The market is always over crowded and people are always pushing and rude.

I brought some Halloween items and a treadmill from here about 4 months ago and was very pleased with my purchases. The delivery was very fast, I had my treadmill 5 days after ordering it. The delivery guy even carried it inside for me which i thought was good service. I received the Halloween items 3 days after ordering. Their items are so cheap but even cheaper when they have a sale on and when they offer free shipping. I have not had one problem with my items. i would buy from here again

This review is for Spirit Of Tasmania, East Devonport TAS

I went on spirit of Tasmania for the first time in January. I found that there isnt a lot to keep children entertained when you first get on the boat of a night. The cinema is playing movies for adults by 10pm and the arcade room as a few arcade games in it that cost $2 a go. They do offer portable dvd players to hire but again at a cost. I find it is very expensive for a family to travel on spirit with the fares being a lot more expensive than airfares and then having to pay to use arcade room or dvd players. I did find the staff very helpful when booking the trip and also on the boat.

The first time my daughter and I went here was last year and we absolutely loved it. we were amazed at all the stores with such great bargains. We ended up spending nearly a full day there. It has a food court down stairs which offers foods for everyone's taste. We loved the pasta we got at the pizza cafe. All the stores were neat and well set out.
But when we went back a few weeks ago we were disappointed. we had told our family from Tasmania how good it was and when we took them there it they thought it was dear. The stores no longer had the bargains they had when it had first opened. It was pretty much like walking into their normal stores not their clearance stores. The staff were unhelpful in most of the stores. The food court was still selling nice food but could do with a few more seats and tables.

This review is for Chrisco Hampers Australia Ltd, Regents Park NSW

I have ordered 3 times with chrisco over the years and all 3 times i had was disappointed. The first time we had grocery items missing, the second time we found most of the food items had to be used with in a couple of months of receiving it and third time i ordered a quilt cover set. The first time i washed it the stitching came undone all down the side. Since then I have not ordered again as staff would not replace items and werent very helpful. I find their items to be more expensive than the stores and most of the electrical products are older models.

Summerhill takeaway does the best flake i have ever tasted. The staff are always friendly and are always smiling. The food is freshly cooked while you wait and is really well priced. When we lived in launceston we would often go up to prospect just to buy there flake. They also do meal deals up as well. The store is always clean and have never found it to have the old oil smell to it which is good.

I went here a few months for the first time after seeing an advertisement saying how cheap they were. I was in for a shock when i walked in there. They were not cheap at all..if anything they were very expensive. I found the staff were rude and did not want to help you. It was like they couldnt get you out the door quick enough. You had to hunt to find the prices on the items even though it was suppose to be a big sale. I dont think i would go here again.

This review is for Kingsmeadows News & Lotto, Kings Meadows TAS

I have been shopping at News and lotto for the last 10 years and always found the staff to be very nice. They stock a great range of magazines and books. They also sell craft items and gift wares. If you are after book subscriptions or want weekly magazines put away they will with your name on them. I would go there on my way to work every few days to get smokes and the paper. The staff got so use to me and would talk to me every time i was in there, that after a few weeks they would have my order sitting on the bench waiting for me when i walked into the store. Thats what i call good customer service.

This review is for Animal Tuckerbox, Launceston TAS

I use to shop here a fair bit years ago but the last time i shopped here i brought fish for my daughters fish tank only to have them all die within a week. I went back and told them but their response was it was their fault, it must have been the water in my tank that killed them or i didnt sit the bag in the water long enough. I had left bag long enough and if it had been the water in my fish tank my other fish would have died as well.
They do stock a lot of animal products at reasonable prices but i would not an animal from there again.

This review is for Kids Paradise, Riverside TAS

verified email - 15 Oct 2012

Before kids paradise moved to its new venue I use to love taking my daughter there. There was so much play equipment for all ages to play on like a ball pit, inflatable slides, jumping castles, mazes and alot more. It also had a cafe that sold reasonable price food. The entry was really cheap and you could spend all day there if you wanted. It was on a bus route so was easy for parents to get to that couldnt drive. Since move to riverside i find it caters more for children under 6 and is a bit dearer for entry and food. There is less equipment and the only thing for the older kids was a xbox room which i believe they no longer have either.
