I have used ELT 4 times for international travel.
Owing to the tyranny of distance and associated time, effort & cost, international travel at the best of times is a pain in the place where the Sun don't shine.
But ELT, excuse the pun, is a gem. First experience was that they cut about 10 hours of my original plan produced by one of the big players in the market.
All 4 times they have ensured my special needs (Type 1) have been built into my flight plans.
Once, time I had to cancel on the 11th hour. ELT gracefully backed out the booking & secured the refunds (flight & insurance).
Last trip, I had severe food poisoning. Lost 7kg in 5 days. ELT contacted insurance company & made sure I was looked after and again, gracefully cancelled & re-booked my flights. Can't get better than that level of service.
