This cafe has really good food and coffee. The decor is a bit disappointing, but I suppose being plain helps to keep the prices reasonable. I love their pies and their vanilla slices. The staff are always friendly and it has a good local feel to it.

The equipment is great and my little ones love it, but it's all so dirty. It's unpleasant to sit at dirty tables (if you can get one) with food all over the floor. Also the children's equipment is dirty and so is the floor they play on. I used to go there quite a lot, but my children got sick after every single visit so I don't go anymore. It's a lost opportunity though. Lots of people would use it if it was well maintained and clean (e.g. everyone in my mother's group said they wouldn't go back, but only because they thought it was dirty)

Probably the best chocolate in Melbourne. Amazingly creative and inventive flavours. I've eaten chocolate from all over the world, and this is world class. I've never been anything but delighted by the eating chocolate and the drinking chocolate I've had in this shop. Try it, you'll be hooked.

This local greengrocer is a great business. Their fruit and vegetables are good quality and well-priced. I love avocados and usually buy them here. They are often around 30% to 50% cheaper than the safeway which is almost next door, and the quality is much higher. The staff are very friendly. A great neighbourhood business.

Borders really know how to run a book shop. The children's area is fantastic. We always end up purchasing something after a lovely time looking through children's books together. The range is excellent, the store layout is user-friendly and the staff are helpful. You can almost always find the title you are looking for.

This is a nice place to take the kids on a hot afternoon, and the over the counter ice-cream is really nice. However, what was incredibly disappointing, was the price and value for money (or lack thereof) of the take-away ice-cream. The Lik Me range of takeaway ice-creams are full of additives and lack quality ingredients that you'd expect in premium ice-cream. It's way more expensive than Häagen-Dazs, and without the high quality and predominately natural recipes that HD uses. I'm an ice-cream buff, so this was a real let down.

This supermarket is so much better than the nearby one on Riversdale Road in middle Camberwell, that it seems like a haven by comparison. The staff are satisfactory or sometimes good - there are a few really nice check-out staff. It is well stocked and I've never experienced incorrect pricing at the check-out (unlike middle camberwell safeway where it is rife). Overall a satisfactory shopping experience.

Customer service ranges from bad to terrible. They won't honour the safeway policy of giving you the item free if it's priced incorrectly (ever). If a new staff member joins and is nice, this is beaten out of them within the week and they become as surly and rude as all the other staff. This is my closest supermarket, but if I have time I go to Safeway in Camberwell Junction where the service ranges from normal to good.
