This is the original home of the freakshake. We first visited when tbe craze began. The shakes were in full size mason jars with incredible toppings. The staff and owner was still new and exceptionally friendly. Tbe business has somewhat lost its shine now. Staff aren't as friendly, and the shakes have skyrocketed in price. By memorh they were about 8 or $9 in 2015. They then rose the price but introduced a mini freakshake. As prices continued to rise they then eliminated the full size leaving the mini as standard but at a premium price. This is a shame as its a great idea but is now just a rip off and we probably won't retuen again.
This place is really something special. Lots of parking leads into a large gift shop selling lots of native and local produce from Melbourne. They have a large collection of gardening books too. The gift shop leads out to the cafe as well as the plabt nursery. The cafe is lovely. Serving lovely meals with a twist of native herbs and flavours. Even the dessert has a native flare.
great little Cafe and Deli in South Albury. We just stopped for a chai and iced coffee. Very nice. They sell their own in house butter and have a hige range of fermented meat and cheese.
This is a great little bakery just outside the town centre. Quality bread and baked goods. We had a cinnamon scroll each. They were huge!
great little tourist spot. Situated for an easy stop over when driving to and from Canberra to Albury/Melbourne. Food is not bad but the history makes it interesting.
I've been here a few times now. It's a community cafe offering great quality food, good coffee and yummy desserts. I was a bit frustrated by their wifi not working as the area has poor reception and when I sit down and eat anywhere I need to have access to my emails etc to continue working. This has meant we don't go as much.
By far our favourite place to drop in to for a bite. The afternoon tea is our favourite, offering a selection of tbeir incredible desserts. They also offer picnic baskets, burgers, rolls and a great space for kids to run free. Ingredients are local and meal prices are a bit steep for how small they are, but it is quality and you need to weigh that into the picture. Definitely don't leave without dessert.
This is a great little cafe offering the kids a small area (for a fee) to play in. The menu is not extensive but it's tasty enough.
I've been a regular customer here. Its located minutes walk away from my work place and offers a friendly atmosphere with decent meals.
The best of Ringwood, hands down. Over three levels the Cellar door offers a roof top bar and vegetable garden, a function space and a restaurant and delicatessen on the bottom level. There is a lift available and stairs too. All produce is local, mostly from the yarra valley. Cheese and bar menu is extensive.
