Brought 3 sets of 12 cupcake wrappers for an event. Was emailed a week after the order was confirmed regarding the product unavailable and recommended a cheaper design as a replacement. An email was sent requesting instead a refund of my purchase with no response so rang the company. After being on hold for 20 minutes I was informed the refund would happen with a confirmation email being sent. Rang back 3 days later after no word and was informed that that wasn't the procedure and it will take the accounts team 14 working days to refund the money and they will send a confirmation email. This is an unacceptable time frame as it is your responsibility as a company to ensure your inventory is up to date, and to provide a suitable solution. I now have to go to another company for this purchase, and I should not be financially disadvantaged for your inability to efficiently action a refund that was entirely your own fault. As a result, I suggest you provide a refund for the product you were unable to provide before I provide a complaint to the ACCC about the inadequate business procedures in place.
