A really great chemist/pharmacy! Staff are knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The pharmacists are fantastic and always explain in detail any requirements for medication that is dispensed.

They are open form 9-9 which is very convenient for those of us who work!

A great DVD rental video shop. The staff are friendly and helpful. Discount voucher are often sent around the area giving a wide range of discount on single DVD rentals or DVD packages.

They have a great selection of DVDs and still have some Videos if you are living in the stone age!!

Crumpler bags appear to be indestructible!! They are funky, practical, waterproof, sturdy and just plain cool!!!

The service at the Smith Street store is fantastic! Staff were friendly and were very quick to demonstrate all of the bag's functions.

I am looking forward to buying a camera bag to add to my funky collection!!

Ugh! The dentist. In fairness, this is a good dentist, however on one occsion I did have to go back to have work redone.

The staff are very friendly and give you a call every 6 months to remind you to come in for a check up.

Blooms on Brice have a fantastic selection of cut flowers and arrangements that are VERY reasonably priced!

A chance decision to have lunch at the Cowes RSL was one of the best ideas of our holiday. We have recommended to all our friends to go there. Excellent service and quality of food. I can HIGHLY recommend the seafood platter. Even two big eaters, hungry at 2pm after not eating all day could not do the platter justice!!

RSLs are as a rule great places to eat and drink. The Spitfire Grill is no exception!! They hae a great selection of meals, all reasonably priced. Servings are VERY generous and they chef really does do a great job!

It will be great once they are able to expand their premises and have a larger bistro area.

This is one of the best tea rooms in the Dandenongs!! Agatha Christie's Miss Marple is the theme of the tea rooms. They hae a fantastic selection of light meals and snacks. The cottage pie is fantastic.

If you still have room after the light meals (they are VERY generous servings) the deserts are fantastic!! Great scones with lashings of jam and cream and a variety of other decadent selections.

I always take out of state and overseas visitors to Miss Marple's!

There are a multitude of tea room in the Dandenongs and this is one of the better ones. They have a very nice range of meals which are fairly reasonable priced.

The tea rooms are located on the right hand side of the road as you drive into Sassafrass. Also next to the tea rooms is a lovely gift shop.

Another good Chinese restaurant in Mooroolbark located near the Coles supermarket.

As well as the traditional Chinese dishes (which they prepare very well), they also have a range of Thai dishes. Having only tried one of the Thai dishes, I would not recommend them. Their Chinese dishes are much better. However, the Thai fried rice is fantastic and is a meal on its own!!
