Thanks for catering for us Anne! The sandwiches we had were consistently fresh, tasty and the selection was excellent. Fantastic quality and effort.
This buffet venue is pretty impressive. It is expensive per head but for the quality and value in the amount of food you get it is reasonable. Try getting the entertainment book, you get back the value of the bill after the bill! I liked the huge variety and couldn't fault anything but the seafood options at the Melba are better.
Good Japanese style dessert crepes on the go. Since they are quite popular, there is always a really alluring crepe smell that is quite tempting. They have a large range of crepes that are reasonably priced. My favourite would be the strawberry, whipped cream, ice cream and custard option. Yum!
These guys have gone and completely renovated n old newspaper stall to turn it into an adorable French creperie. The outcome? Pretty good! Their crepes are savoury or sweet and come reasonably priced as well as quick to order. Though so, I got the salted caramel and almonds and would have preferred it to be more filling, nice as a snack though.
My boyfriend and I spent an afternoon to lunch here while in the city. It's a bit pricey but we got the wagyu steak and the lamb shoulder out of the small set of options from the menu. Both were melt in your mouth delicious- so tender and sooo good. We'll be back!
My boyfriend ended up bringing me here for the buffet dinner as a surprise for my birthday. What can I say? It was absolutely divine- they have different sections for seafood, Indian, Asian, roast and dessert buffet. Everything was of the fresh and of the finest quality, the ambiance and view of the Yarra at night were spectacular and the staff went above and beyond with their service. I kept going back to the seafood and dessert sections! We both left feeling very full and very satisfied. It's a bit of an indulgence but a good place to splurge on for special occasions.
I ended up dining here with the boyfriend after some shopping at Harbour town. The decor and atmosphere was quite nice, and everything had a contemporary Cambodian theme and was quite unique. It seems like a popular joint with the locals-we dropped when it opened for dinner and it filled up fairly quickly. For our mains, we got the Khmer Yellow Crepe and the boy got the Choo Chi. The menu was interesting and both serving sizes were generous, but I would have preferred for the crepe to have a richer flavour, the Choo Chi was superb though.
My boyfriend and I decided to make an amusement park date out, and though I enjoyed my experience here, I was fun but brief. The lines could get quite long as it was quite crowded (it still wasn't school holidays yet) and there was a lack of decent, normally priced food. More or newer rides are needed but we had good fun with the classics. A good idea if you're planning to get the kids out though.
Approximate cost: $45
I loved the people and the friendly culture at this salon. I am a deal from scoopon for a cut, treatment, colour and GHD styling and was, in no way, treated as a second rate customer simply because I was not paying the full price. The blond girl who cut my hair was honest and considerate during the whole service and I walked out looking and feeling fabulous. If only I actually lived near Essendon, this would be my go to hair salon!
I went to Little Lamb as part of a group of four to try out their hot pot and bbq option. The service was practically non-existent as everything was self serve (not judging because with hot pot and bbq, everything is done by yourself- but a smile and proper greeting would have been nice), and the layout a bit cramped but they had a decent amount of fresh meats and vegetables and it was fun.
