I have had take out and dine in with this restaurant. It looks nothing flash, nestled between Subway and Baskin Robbins on the cnr of Stafford and South Pine Roads. The food however, is exceptional. The Beef Rogan Josh is full of flavour (without being spicy) and there is a lot of meat as well as sauce. The Naan bread are nice and all the entrees are great. Take out meals come with complimentary saffron rice and they have a great lunch special. Not open Mondays.

I have only had take away from this restaurant and have to say it was based on many local paper reviews. I was disappointed with the food overall. The restaurant looks great and would provide a brilliant dine in atmosphere, the take out food took a reasonable amount of time. The Naan bread were the standout item - they were large and fresh. I found there was a lot of sauce, and little meat in the 3 dishes we ordered. There is a very good range of food on the menu.
This is a thriving and busy coffee shop at the back of a busy shopping Centre. Everton Plaza is on the corner of South Pine Road and Stafford Roads. You can get either breakfast, lunch or meals in between. Closes after the brisk afternoon tea trade. They make great coffee (dine in or take away) and also great milk shakes. The scones are made on the premises and can be recommended. Col and Annette (owners) are friendly and make all customers welcome.
We have been here for dinner a couple of times and held two family functions here. The staff were so helpful with the family functions and set up tables with balloons, etc which made it that much more special. The meals are good - better than standard pub fare, but they are a little pricey when you consider it is a tavern. There is a nice play area for the kids. I have been more than happy to recommend this tavern to friends.

We met friends for coffee here one day. We were a little disappointed overall as the food was a tad ordinary and the coffee took a while. The service was friendly, but the atmosphere was less than positive. The shop part was crowded and we sat outside and had customers coming in and out for the computer shop behind us all the time. There was a problem with the bill (the staff member couldn't calculate a percentage figure) but it was all sorted positively in the end.
This is a '50's inspired cafe. There is Elvis out the front and sometimes cars from the era will be parked out the front (hot rod day I believe). They sell breakfasts, light morning teas, lunches. Only open school hours Monday-Friday, closed Saturday, but open during the Sunday markets. Nice food, verandah to sit on and enjoy your meal.
This Fire Museum is awesome. It has a large number of retired fire engines from horse drawn to quite recent. It has a stack of fire memorabilia (including the old tin hats!). On Sundays on market day, they ask for a gold donation for entry. It is run by volunteers. Also on Sundays they have a little fire engine (like a topless jeep) that will take the kids for a ride around the park for $2. Recommended for all ages.
This museum is located at the front of the Dayboro/North Pine Country Markets. It is open Sunday while the markets is on, and is well worth a visit. It has permanent displays of the history of the area but also has other displays through the year. We have seen toys through the ages, weights and measures, now and then displays and more. Kids can see an oldstyle classroom setup and a giant snakes and ladders game on the front floor. Free entry.

This is a great cafe/restaurant. The prices are certainly on the high end but the quality of food is high. The meals are fresh and tasty. Coffee and cake is another option for afternoon tea and the cakes are always fresh as well. There are comfortable lounge chair style booths, tables outside (a bit hot in summer, it is better inside with the air conditioning) amd a couple of small lounge areas. Recommended.
Very different stock to the usual gift shop. Heaps of African animal gifts and artefacts. We have a friend who loves giraffes, and this was the shop to buy for her! The owner was very friendly and helpful. They also sell online as well as in the store. The store is well worth a look if you find yourself in the area.
