Having enjoyed a takeaway meal from this restaurant we decided to enjoy a birthday dinner over looking the sunset at Port Noarlunga. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere is interesting and welcoming. The staff could not have been more helpful. My husband and I shared chicken satays for our entrees. He had a stir-fry for mains which he said was extremely good. My mouth still salivates when I think about my salt and pepper chicken. I will return for another sampling as it was extra-ordinarily delicious and a large serve. The others at our table said their vegan and vegetarian meals were amazing. We also enjoyed their variety of hand-crafted local beers, which are on tap. All of us are sure to return - soon.

Pack of butterfish and chip for $9.50 was delicious and enough for the two of us for a light lunch. The batter was crisp, golden and delicious. The chips were crunchy with soft insides. Tartare sauce came with the meal. We were given an electronic buzzer to notify us when the meal was ready. This meant that we could have a little wander down to the jetty nearby, and watch the ocean while waiting. Ten minutes later we were hailed to collect it. Sitting on a bench overlooking the beach and enjoying our fish and chips was perfect.

We purchased a Scoopon voucher for this new little restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our three-course Indian meal with soft drinks. The young lass who served us was wonderful and she really looked after us. My husband started with deep fried fritters with spinach and chick pea flour (Palak Pakora), while I had chicken pieces fried with herbs and spices (Chicken 65). Both were delicious and each came with a small salad, and were beautifully presented. I chose Chicken Korma as my mains and my husband had Lamb Spinach with a thick gravy of cashews, almonds, coconut, capsicum and onions. I enjoy my Kormas and this one was excellent. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal and commented that it was different to any other Indian meal that he had tasted. The main course came with a bowl of rice and lovely naan bread. Desserts were Gulab Jamum and an amazing Carrot Halwa.
At the present time the restaurant is having some small teething problems as they are still undergoing renovations. Do not let this put off if you want delicious well-portioned Indian meals at good prices, and with excellent service. Takeaway is also available.
Absolutely recommend this place.

Searching on the Internet for a particular brand of perfume (MOR marshmallow) I found that this store stocked what I wanted. I had passed this shop on many occasions but never been inside. What a pleasant surprise it was. They have a huge range of products including clothing (formal, casual and childrens), jewellery, perfumes, gifts and homewares, and at very realistic prices. So many 'different' items (not the normal 'can be found anywhere'). It is a place to relax and potter around. The owner was lovely and very helpful when I wanted to make my purchase - making suggestions which saved me some money. As the perfume was to be my Christmas present she offered to gift wrap it for me. I had purchased three articles of the perfume, but when I unwrapped it there was also a cloth drawstring bag and summer dressing gown wrap. I was delighted. The shop also has a beautique, which I intend to visit.

It was a very cold night, but unfortunately the chill had carried through to the restaurant. Even though there was a lovely fire near the bar its warmth had not spread. When our meals arrived they looked very bland. My meal was chicken schnitzel with Dianne sauce and sweet potato chips. My husband had beef schnitzel with mushroom sauce and chips. Both came with the tiniest salad bowl of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, capsicum and onion - but it did have a dressing. Both of our meals tasted very nice. It would have been preferable to have warm plates as the meal quickly became cold. Also the lack of a bread roll was noticeable. Although the dessert menu was very appealing we did not stay due to the cold. Cost $38 with rose and cider using Entertainment book voucher.
New decor in black and beechwood is very appealing.
Probably will not be inclined to return.

As this was on our little road trip we decided to call into their cellar and have a wine sample. It is a beautiful little walk from the car park to the cellar-door through a delightful lush garden. We were warmly greeted by James and his little daughter. Our sampling was of the sparkling Chardonnay which was lovely, but I much preferred the sparkling Moscato (which we purchased for $22). We were a little early for food but will return to sample their platters (you select what you want from their menu, so it can be as small or large as you want). Pizzas at $15 are also available. The venue outside is scattered around the gardens and it is possible to have a little area just to yourselves. I can imagine a small group of friends gathered here - just relaxing, and eating and drinking some wonderful food and wine.

A glorious restored building in the main street of Clarendon holds the cafe and antique shop. We ordered our Devonshire coffees and wandered around the adjoining rooms which held a large antique collection. When our drinks and eats were ready we were guided back to the cafe. Awaiting us were 2 mugs of cappuccino with little biscuits (which was lemony and delicious), plus an enormous scone with bowls of dried apricot jam and raspberry and quince jam and a generous bowl of whipped cream. All were absolutely delicious. It is a very relaxing place to stop for morning or afternoon tea and has the most warm and friendly service. We will return.

This hotel has a new old-worlde charm with excellent dining facilities. The day we had lunch here there were only a few customers so we had expected to receive better service. My husband enjoyed his salt and pepper squid and my chicken schnitzel was enjoyable. I would rate them as average pub food which was a bit disappointing. The bar has a good range of tap beers.

We will return and return. This cafe has the most amazing, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. We chose to have a table inside: there are tables on the front verandah as well an undercover courtyard. We had planned to have afternoon tea but on the website we saw that they now serve full meals so decided to have lunch including dessert. I chose the beer battered fish and chips which were outstanding. The batter was the lightest and fluffiest I have even tasted. My husband had their signature dish of salt and pepper squid. Both serves with a good size and both came with French fries, aioli and salad. Some dressing on the salad would have been nice, but this is the only fault. We both had ice cream bombs for dessert, which included a choice of baileys and scorched almond, vanilla or chocolate mud with melted Belgian chocolate. When they say 2 scoops they mean the old fashioned large size. My husband also had a cappuccino while I enjoyed a banana smoothie. I look forward to returning to sample their wraps for a lighter meal. The day we were there was a holiday Monday and they were frantically busy, but the service was excellent.

A group of us celebrated my husband's birthday here. The atmosphere of this pub is wonderful and the dining area is large. My husband and I shared a platter of grilled haloumi with olive tapenade, chicken skewers, salt and pepper pork belly with ciabatta bread and dukkah at a cost of $30. The servings were rather small. Both of us agreed that the pork was the best and the other two tapas were so-so. Others at the table thoroughly enjoyed their chicken schnitzels and beef and guinness pies. I think we made the wrong choice on the day. Everyone ordered dessert. My husband enjoyed his affogato and my white chocolate and raspberry panna cotta with honeycomb was amazing. The day we were there the serving girls did a marvelous job, even though they were short staffed and very busy. They took time to make you feel welcome.
We were there the year before for a birthday celebration and we think it is going to turn into a tradition. Fully recommend.
