Good 'plus sizes' (size 14+) women's clothing. Expensive, until they have their frequent sales and then many things drop below the $20 mark. Good work shirts, nice tops.
This place is large and run-down. The waiting chairs are worn and dirty. There are often long wait times to see a doctor and even longer wait times to see a nurse. Waiting hours is not uncommon.
Excellent haircutters and waxers at good prices. You don't need to be an expert on hair to get a good cut here, they just seem to know what works well on you. They also do a good eyebrow wax- they don't wax too thin and they do create a good shape eyebrow.
Approximate cost: $80
Great range of unique, designer style frames at very affordable prices. Many frames are one-offs, and if they break they just offer you a new pair of frames or repair. Also many very cheap frames around the $50 price, plus lenses.
Great range of $1 cards. The staff are very helpful, better than most post office staff who want to get you out quickly. They assisted me with getting the cheapest post when I needed to buy an envelope and post some documents.
The best part of this chemist is their opening hours. When other chemists are shut, these guys are open and are prompt about filling scripts.
This is a pharmacy that wants to sell you stuff like perfume, but isn't really interested in filling scripts. The store is loaded up with stuff to sell to you like knick knacks, beauty products and cosmetics- seems like Priceline. Sometimes good perfume prices.
Prices are good for chemist items, however pharmacy service is TERRIBLE. There are very long wait times, and they are often out of stock of common medications, which they tell you after you have spent a long time waiting. So I'd buy perfume here, but not get a script filled.
Although busy, they are fast and efficient at dispensing medication. They also usually have my medications in stock, which is a nice change. If there is a long wait, say ten minutes, they tell you to come back in 10.
They managed to misread my script and refused to dispense my medication. They confiscated my script and I had to go back to my doctor, through another appointment, and get another script because UFS was too stupid to call my doctor and ask what his instructions were. They eventually apologised, but only after I spent a whole afternoon chasing up this script. Not good enough and I never go there anymore.
