We went to this restaurant tonight for an impromptu dinner out. The service was great ... they are not licensed but they do offer BYO.

We started with Rice Paper Rolls with Pork and Prawns which were delicious. We then shared Wonton with Egg Noodle Soup and Chicken with Cashews and Vegetables and Rice. The food was beautiful and quick and the value was exceptional.

We look forward to getting back there to try some more of their dishes.

We went here two days in a row, Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Queenscliff is a quiet little town when it's not the weekend or holidays.

My favourite crepes here is the Blueberry Kosciusko which is amazing and delicious. Sharon had the Go Bananas on Tuesday and the Chicken Supreme with Chicken and Mushrooms. I have never been disappointed here ... EVER! They also make great coffee and Hot Chocolate.

We had a lovely dinner here on Tuesday night. We started with Bruschetta which was beautiful. Sharon had the Gnocchi with Proscuitto e Funghi adn I had one of the specials of the day, the 500gm Rib eye with Pepper Sauce. Both were delicious. Washed down with a few Coronas and a glass of delicious red we had no room for dessert.

We went here on a Sunday night and had the banquet for 2 so we started with Prawn Crackers, Spring Rolls and Dim Sims followed by Sizzling Mongolian Beef, Beef & Chicken in Black Bean Sauce and Special Fried Rice. The food was delicious and the service was pretty good.

We had Banana Fritters for dessert which were delicious. There was only one problem, both my girlfriend and I did end up going to the toilet (number ones) several times more than we would normally during the night. I can't pin it on the food but there was nothing else different that we did that day.

We went here for lunch on Sunday and had a magnificent lunch. We shared a couple of plates for a light lunch and had Salt & Pepper Calamari, shaved Fennel, Tomato, Feta & preserved Lemon Salad, Verjuice dressing and a Beetroot & Goats Cheese Salad with a Walnut Dressing,. Both salads were beautiful and were washed down with a quiet beer. The service was fantastic and coming out of the restaurant with a bill under $50 was great.

I hired a car last Friday night and as I hadn't had the chance to go to the bank didn't have enough on my Visa Debit card to pay for 2 days hire. So I paid for 1 night and said that I would go to the bank the next day to put the rest of the money in my account to pay for the 2nd day.

Unfortunately my bank was not open on the Saturday so I couldn't deposit the money. I called to ask if I could pay cash and was told that I couldn't. I called my girlfriend to get her credit card details and called them back. They couldn't use that as they needed to have her sign for it as it wasn't in my name.

In the end I had to get my girlfriend to drive half an hour to the nearest AVIS depot before 1:00pm on a Sunday to sign an authority form and then they tried to take the 2 days hire out of her account ... I had already paid the first days hire.

At no stage did I feel like the staff wanted to help me. I have used a lot of car hire companies in the past but I will definitely NOT be using AVIS ever, ever again.

We went to Harry's late on a Saturday night after the Wildlife Coast Twilight Cruise and didn't get there until after 9pm. They were quite happy to give us a table on the balcony to watch the last remnants of the sunset as we had a couple of drinks.

We started with 7 Tasmanian Oysters 4 Ways - 2 Natural with grapefruit and salmon caviar dressing , 2 with mignonette sorbet, 2 kilpatrick and 1 bloody mary shot which was $25. Onto mains ... we only had small ones as we were both pretty full of nibbles from the cruise. Sharon had the Scallops Provencale in a Herb and Garlic Sauce with Salad and I had the Seafood Risotto (both $19.50 for entree size).

The service was excellent and we will definitely be going back next time we are on the Island.

My girlfriend shouted me this cruise for my Birthday early in January. It was a great cruise and the commentary from the captain "John" was really interesting. The girls bringing out the nibbles were polite and good fun and there were plenty of cold beverages to quench the thirst. My favourite part of the trip was going around the submarine Okinawa and hearing about it's history and hat the navy had tried to do to sell it. All in all it as a great trip and I would highly recommend it.

We got take-away tonight for dinner and it was the best Fish and Chips we have had in Pakenham and we have tried them all. Good old Aussie Fish & Chips! We had Flake (the pieces were massive), Potato Cakes, Fried Dim Sims, Calamari Rings and Chips and the batter was crisp, Chips were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Highly recommended.

We went here for coffee in the morning on a Saturday and the service was great even though they were very busy. I had a coffee and my girlfriend had a hot chocolate and we got the hot jam donuts to share.

The coffee and hot chocolate were great and the jam donuts were the best I've had in 30 years. I was so tempted to order a second serve =)
