What a great view to dine in. You have stunning views of the great harbour bridge, most of the people comes around which provides a good buzz and great atmosphere, and different live music every night. Honestly, the food is just so-so. You just pay mostly for the view and scenic.
Sometimes the staff can forget to bring what you ordered because there are so packed with people.
Fantastic :)
My wife and I ate at the chophouse for the second time last week and we were impressed by the entire experience!
They really take pride in the quality and provenance of their produce. Friendly, helpful staff and a good wine list.
The staff were so friendly and knowledgable and truly a delight to be served by!! AND THE DESERTS WERE INSANE..!!
we really love this place, the food is very very very nice and price is right. Papaya salad with salted egg was fresh and delicious.
The best soft shell crab ever. Great prawn salad. Excellent dessert rice. Perhaps a bit too noisy for a quiet business lunch, but not bad that you can't have a conversation.
It's a great place to satisfy your thai cravings and go off somewhere for desserts if you have space.
The food Quality is outstanding, no question about it. For the price you pay, this is what you would expect from them. They handle thai food in a whole new level.
We had a range of dishes, beef, chicken and fish - all had amazing tastes. Staff we fantastic and 1 thing we all noticed they were NOT pushy with drinks. This was a bonus as that is what I find at most places.
But the queue can be painful sometimes.
Approximate cost: $35
"Huong Huong" is located on the main strip of Marrickville Road, Marrickville (in the Inner West) and handy to all transport. This place is a hidden gem well known to locals for many years.
This one is definitely one of my top Vietnamese list. The star dish is Kuetiaw Siram and Ayam sereh. ironically, I am not there for their Vietnamese food but instead the Indonesian food that attract me to go there.
Very friendly staff, delicious food. Big portion servings and quick service. Great little place to take someone who hasn't tried Korean food. Great food and a good price.
Our drinks included a flavoured tea ($4), a can of lemon soda ($4) and a can of VB beer ($5). Being served canned rather than bottled drinks was a surprise, but glasses were provided. Hite beer was available ($6) as were other teas and Korean rice wine.
Very slick service and tasty food and cold Korean beer before the show at the Capitol. Bustling atmosphere and no wasted time when you are in a rush.
The food are not bad, but sometimes very inconsistency in portion size. their ginseng chicken soup is really good. I always go with a bunch of friends for cheap soju.
Not the best dumplings I've ever had but their hygienic is good, covering mouth in the kitchen. The problem is that the service is getting worst every time I go there, probably too busy.
That night we ordered the steam fish but we found it not very fresh and we told them but they denied it by saying that all the fish are like this taste. very disappointed.
We came and The waitress told me that we had to wait for half hour. It was full of queue outside. When we got into our table upstair, i was surprised that the restaurant was pretty much empty, only the 1st floor was packed.
The place is really dark that make you extremely hard to look at the menu. I ordered the burger and it was big and tasty.
chopping board and sardine tin was used as serving plate.
Approximate cost: $17
I'm glad I ordered the teriyaki chicken because my other friends dishes was so-so.
Service was lousy, everything slow from order taking, to drinks arriving after long wait to food being brought for 2 but third one take another 15 minute.
it's fine balance between quality, price but not the service. sushi & sashimi is like your average japanese restaurant.
