We went here for lunch on a Saturday for an early Father's Day meal. It wasn't very busy, which was probably a bit of a bonus, as the food came out fairly quickly, and it wasn't too noisy or cramped. They have $10 meal deals after 5:30pm weekdays and for lunch on weekends. We had 3 different meals, all were generous, tasty and inexpensive for the quality and serving sizes. For pub food, there was quite a good, interesting selection of meals. The only real drawbacks to this place are the stairs to get up to the food service area, and the lack of parking - but I suspect it mostly caters to people working in the area, for whom parking wouldn't be a problem on weekdays.

This place sells a reasonable range of Indian dishes that would suit most tastes, from mild to hot, and vegetarian options. The service is quick, because the food is all right there, already cooked and you can see what it is you are choosing. They have some specials where you can buy two or three dishes with rice, and you can get it in a container to take away, or on a plate to eat in the food court. I picked two chicken dishes, which I thought were quite mild, and tasty, and a plain naan, which was cooked fresh. The only downfall of getting food from a place like this is if the foodcourt is busy, it can be noisy and hard to find a table.

This place mostly does chickens, but they have a handful of nice salads that aren't too expensive, and do hamburgers on request. The shop is not big, but has a couple of tables inside, as well as some outside seating. The service is fairly quick and polite, with quite a few people behind the counter serving, so you don't have to wait long to get someones attention.

Went here for a quick lunch before going to see a movie at Greater Union. We chose this place as it was close to the cinema, and they had an interesting selection of food already made. We had a kind of Japanese version of an omelet, with a what seemed like a dozen different and interesting ingredients in it. The service was fast and polite, and the meal was inexpensive and tasty. My only real complaint was that the food wasn't very hot, but it tasted good and was filling. The seating was also a little odd, but was arranged to try and fit as many people in as possible. It's the kind of place where you can pick something pre-prepared and ready to eat, or order of a menu and wait until they cook it fresh for you, either way, the service seemed to be pretty quick.

I went here for afternoon tea, after doing some shopping. It was convenient to where I was buying some bulky items, had lots of seating and a large menu with lots of options. The service was quick and efficient though perhaps a little aloof. The prices were pretty average for this shopping centre, and the coffee was fairly average too.

We went to this place for a late lunch. They had some good lunch specials, which included a free drink of your choice, from Monday to Friday. I had a chicken fettuccine dish, with a divine sauce, and the person I went with had the salt and pepper calamari, which was also very tasty. The service was polite and quick, and the menu options were good. They don't serve alcohol here, but they do have BYO, and charge $3 corkage per person. There's also a $1 fee if you pay by any kind of card - credit or debit.

This is a tiny little shop that sells pies, sausage rolls, cakes and pastries etc and coffee and other drinks. There's not enough room for a huge selection, but it's more than adequate for what it is, particularly if you're looking for a light snack. The people behind the counter were friendly, though I had a little trouble understanding the lady when she asked if I wanted sauce with my sausage roll. They close at 3:30pm on weekdays, and I don't think they are open long hours on weekends, so it's really only a breakfast, lunch or snackfood stop. It was fairly cheap too.

I went here after lunch elsewhere, as I was waiting for someone, and wanted some coffee and dessert while I waited. The service was fairly quick and pleasant, and the coffee and ice cream tasted nice. The ice cream was perhaps a little on the expensive side though, as I got two scoops, and it cost over $6, but it was good quality and yummy! I realised as I went to pay that I didn't have quite enough cash on me, and they don't have EFTPOS or credit card facilities, so it was a tad embarrassing as I had to rush to the nearest ATM to get some more money out to pay.

This place sells donor kebabs, Turkish Pide (pizza) and other Lebanese/Turkish food. It's fairly new, and very clean and bright. The service was quick and pleasant, and we got our kebabs very quickly. We got them with the works, and they were very tasty and filling - they were huge, and not that expensive.

We went here for lunch, as my mum had a medical appointment nearby in the afternoon. No one acknowledged us as we came in, though they knew we were there, so we went to sit ourselves down at the nearest available table which happened to be for four people. This caused a bit of a panic for the staff, who rushed over to check that there was only two of us dining, and separated the two tables that had been pushed together, so that they could seat someone else if they came - it was very full when we arrived. There wasn't much of a selection on the menu, and if you like something big and meaty, you'll be disappointed. My mum ordered fish and chips, which was ok, but for $21, should have been much better (you could get the same thing at a takeaway place for 1/3 the price). I ordered the corn fritters, and got two small fritters, two bits of chewy bacon and some weird avocado thing on top. For the price, the serving was very small - more entree-sized - and not that filling. The decor is very bland and boring, and the floor is bare concrete, making the place quite noisy when busy. The service was polite, but very slow. Overall, it was a rather disappointing experience.

Approximate cost: $18 - $20
