This is a tiny little cafe on a relatively quiet part of Sailors Bay Road, driving past, it's hard to actually see it! I found it by pure coincidence, and thought I'd give it a try. I went in at about 10:30 on a Saturday morning, and got quick, friendly service from the two guys working there. They didn't have much of a selection of food, but they may have been because I was there at the wrong sort of time on a quiet day. They did have some yummy looking and smelling pastries on the counter, which tempted me the whole time I was waiting for my coffee. The guy who made the coffee told me that they'd come out of the oven only a couple of hours before, so they were fresher than you'd get at most places! In the end, I bought one of the custard brioches, as well as the two coffees I'd gone in for. The main draw back of this place is that there's only a small amount of seating at the back of the shop, but they bill themselves as a coffee shop, so mostly this shouldn't be a problem, as most people would get takeaway.

This has to be the biggest bottle shop I've ever seen, with a good selection of alcohol of all varieties. The aisles aren't too narrow either, so you don't need to feel like you're accidentally going to knock something over if you turn around.

I thought I'd give this place a try when I discovered the other salon I wanted to try in the same street was booked up for another 2 hours. There was no waiting, and no appointment necessary. The person took me straight to the wash basin, where I waited for perhaps a minute, and then had a quick trim straight after my hair was washed.

The salon is bright and clean, although it smelt strongly of chemicals, as they do nails as well, and someone was getting acrylic nails applied while I was there.

I like the fact that they have a "no appointment necessary" policy, which they can stand by, and the prices were competitive. You do get what you pay for, with less fuss than some more expensive salons I've been to, but I liked being in and out in less than an hour, and still got a reasonable haircut.

This is a takeaway seafood place which sells fresh seafood, as well as cooked. I got fish and chips here, which was cooked to order, and was fresh and delicious when I ate it. The fish and chips stayed hot for the 15 minute drive home, and was very moreish, I saved some for my cat and even he was begging for more! The service was friendly and quick, although being in a noisy shopping centre, it was hard to hear my number being called out.

This is a small family run takeaway shop that does a number of different combos of fish and chips, as well as other fast food such as hamburgers, and have a small selection of soft drinks. I have had hamburgers from this place that have been very tasty, and are fairly quick, and cheap. The last time I went here, I got a seafood basket, which was provided fairly quickly, but didn't seem all that fresh, and was a bit too greasy. The seafood basket had a good range of things in it, but they were mostly fairly disappointing, because of the lack of freshness, and the greasiness, and some of them had a slightly odd taste. I've definitely had better fish and chips elsewhere, and wouldn't buy that sort of thing from here again, but would go back for the hamburgers.

We went here for lunch, as an early Mother's Day meal after reading a review in local paper. They are only open for lunch from Wednesday to Friday, but are open for dinner 7 days a week, and also offer take away and home delivery to the surrounding area. There was only one other small group at the restaurant at the time we went, which was fine, as it meant it was quiet, and the food came quite quickly. We ordered a mixed entree for two, but there was plenty for the three of us, and very tasty. They have a good variety of choices, and note if they are spicy and how much, which is good for those who don't like spicy food. All the main meals were tasty, filling and came quickly.

This is a take away noodle bar, although there is seating in the shopping centre, it's not exclusive to this shop. We have been back a few times, as we initially enjoyed the food quite a bit. The last time we went, the noodles were a bit dry/overcooked, but we will probably go again.

I went here about 10:30am on a weekday for a coffee and pastry, while I was waiting for someone. I got my pastry within 5 minutes of ordering, but over 20 minutes later, the person I was waiting for turned up and my coffee hadn't. The place was crowded busy, but not so busy that waiting for over 20 minutes for a coffee was acceptable, and there was no indication that this would be the case. The food on display looks delightful and appetising, but the place was crowded and noisy, and I ended up asking for a refund on my coffee, which I had no trouble getting fortunately.

I went here for lunch, and it was fairly quiet, though there were a number of in and out while we were there. This is one of those Sushi Train-style restaurants that have a variety of different types of sushi and sashimi on coloured plates that go around on a track in front of you. You can order an a specific meal as well, but the sushi train is good value, and you get to choose your own food as it goes past. Most of the sushi is prepared in front of you by the chefs, and is served fresh. There is a great variety, and some that are different to the other sushi train restaurants in the area.

The food here seems great, with loads of options, although a little expensive. We went on a weekday at lunch time, and it wasn't very busy which was great. Our food was cooked fairly quickly, and was delicious, though the servings were perhaps a little small for the price paid. The general atmosphere, furnishings etc were a little bland. Also, when you order, you get one of those vibrating/beeping things that let you know when your meal is ready, which means having to collect your meal, as well as being noisy.
