I've had the Yum Cha lunch here a couple of times, including just recently. I like the choices, and the fact that if it's busy, fresh stuff keeps being brought out. The only problem is that the staff seem to all appear at once at the start offering various "dumplings" and if you say no thanks, they seem to assume you don't want anything else from them ever. The staff don't seem to be very intuitive, ignoring you even if you have no food on your table and often overlook tables in awkward spots. There are pillars everywhere, and they have made the most of the space they have by cramming tables in all over the place, making it hard for staff to see/access some tables.

I like the variety of food here, and the fact that it's not just chicken! They have some interesting and yummy salads, and you can ask for them without dressing, if you are on a diet. They have a regular set of food, and often also have a rotating menu with different dishes each day of the week. They often have a special where you can buy any size of a specific dish, and get free rice and salad of the same size, which works out to be good value for money.

Went here on a Saturday at lunch time. The service was pretty quick, and they explained the way the menu worked etc. This is an American-based franchise business that specializes in gourmet hamburgers where the customer chooses the size, bun, fillings etc. They have a good variety of meat, fillings and sauces etc, and they ask how well cooked you want the meat cooked, if you choose beef. I asked for mine to be cooked to medium, not expecting the mince to actually still be raw in the middle, but will know better for next time! The parking around Crows Nest can be difficult, and the restaurant was noisy, and busy. It's probably a place best suited to young people, particularly groups.

I've had the lunch and dinner buffet here, and gone on special occasions such as Easter and their Christmas in July/Yuletide buffets, and it's always been delicious, with loads of choice. Actual table service can be a bit slow at times, so if you want a drink or the bill, you may have to try hard to flag down waitstaff.

This place needs a bit of a makeover, with the tables and chairs looking old and tired, and tears in the cushions lining the sofa-like seating. The food and drinks are rather expensive, and while I initially thought they were pretty great, I've since had much yummier elsewhere. It can be rather noisy in here as well, particularly when the espresso machine gets going.

I've had coffee here a couple of times on a Sunday afternoon, and the service was reasonable, and the coffee was OK - not the best I've ever had, but not the worst either. They have some interesting desert selections, though they were running out of various things when I went there, but it was late Sunday, near closing time.

This is a big warehouse-style pet supplies store. They don't sell pets here, just a wide variety of food, toys and other supplies you can think of for a variety of pets.

I have seen a couple of different doctors here, and they have been fairly friendly and experienced. You will probably need to make an appointment on weekdays, though they don't accept appointments on weekends, so it is a first come, first served basis, and you may end up waiting an hour or so, if it is busy. They don't bulk bill for consultations, except in certain circumstances, so it's worth checking beforehand.

This review is for Nino's Hair Design, North Ryde NSW

I walked in without making an appointment, and saw a hairdresser straight away. There were only two on duty at the time (about 2:30 - 3pm), Nino and a young female. The service was friendly and efficient, the lady who cut my hair made sure she knew exactly what I wanted before she started, and did a good job. This shopping centre this is in can get noisy just after 3pm, as this is when the two local primary schools let their children out, but otherwise there were no issues.

This review is for Kirribilli Club, Kirribilli NSW

This club underwent a complete overhaul a couple of years ago, with the old club being demolished, and a new one with newer, different facilities and a few stories of units/accommodation built on top. The prices of food and drinks have increased, and the ambience is not the same as before, as it has now gone substantially upmarket, and seems to be aimed at a different demographic than it was previously.
