Good feedback on our move with Metromovers. Chris and the guys were absolutely fantastic. They handled all of our property with care and efficiency. They were extremely polite and helpful and we were very grateful to have such experienced and considerate guys to assist with our move. My husband and I were stressed as we were doing a simultaneous settlement and were very happy that at least we didn't have to worry about the move. The guys were careful as they moved the furniture out of our apartment and again as they moved the furniture into our new house which had been newly painted with a new wood floor. Thanks to Chris and his team and to the lovely office lady Belinda who handled the recommendations and booking of our move.

second time moving with Metromovers in less than a year. Same excellently consistent quality of service that I received on the previous move. Well presented staff, impressive trucks, all the right equipment for moving my piano and a well executed plan of moving my very long couch over the balcony. I am sure I wont be moving again for a very long time but I would happily recommend Metromovers to anyone wanting a good move experience.

Removal service for moving house: Your assistance when getting info and booking the move was really helpful. Your recommendations helped us make the right choice in getting the 2 trucks and 3 men that were definitely required! Also, the 3 guys who moved our house were fantastic. They were efficient, thoughtful and really considerate of our needs, so all went smoothly and it reduced our stress levels leading up to having another baby.

Here's some feedback on our move experience with Metro Movers.

It's was the first time we have ever used a removalist, so the anxiety levels were running quite high. Firstly we looked up removalists in the local area. We had contacted several on our shortlist and most of them were over-quoting and not taking the time to listen to what our needs were.

Thankfully in our case a friend had recently used Metro Movers and recommended them. From the first call our minds were put at ease. We spoke to Jo, who was very polite and extremely helpful, even referring us to the “AFRA” (Australian Furniture Removers Association) when considering reputable removalist companies. After taking her advice and contacting several others we came back to Metro Movers. From then on all was taken care off. We booked our spot and any questions we had were dealt with professionally and quickly. This was highlighted by a call the day before the move as a courtesy to confirm all was in order for the day of the move.

When the two big guys showed up, they were friendly and also professional. They were unbelievably quick and efficient whilst having a few laughs along the way. I involved myself by helping out where I could and they didn't mind. Their service and effort on the day certainly provided a low stress environment.

In summary the move went extremely smooth and thanks to everyone involved. And like many of the other comments made by previous customers, it ended up taking less time than we had first anticipated and certainly was a lot less stress than we had dreaded. I would recommend Metro Movers to all.

May I take this opportunity to say that the removalists who attended on the day were very professional and did a terrific job. Also, the ladies I dealt with while making arrangements for this move have been very helpful and knowledgeable.

Your company completed my relocation from Mount Eliza to Docklands last week.
I would just like to thank all the removalists involved in making this move so hassle free.
First of all, Jo who took my booking was most helpful in sorting out my storage and delivery requirements.
Then the guys that did the pickup from Mount Eliza were prompt and efficient.
The 3 guys that delivered to my apartment had, what I would think was a difficult move-in, but they handled it with great care, and were happy and cheery the whole time.
I would also like to mention that I had not one breakage in all of this. 
My appreciation to all, I will definitely recommend your services to anyone.

I would like to provide you with some feedback on my moving experience with Metro Movers.

Firstly, I had contacted a couple of places for quotes - most of whom where significantly over-quoting me and not taking the time to listen to what my needs were. A colleague suggested you (her family had used you and had very positive experiences). So - after a number of frustrating calls to other companies, I called and spoke with Belinda - who took the time to go through everything in detail with me - all of my needs and expectations. From that phone call alone, I booked the job on the spot.

I called and e-mailed a couple of times for further information or when things changed slightly - every time things were dealt with positively and quickly.

Being called the day before the move as a courtesy to confirm everything was a relief (a friend had recently had movers not bother to turn up when they had been booked).

When the guys turned up they were professional but friendly. The care they showed for my things and the properties at both ends was amazing. They were quick and efficient - whilst still humouring me with converstation and allowing me to help out here and there. They were a very good team, who provided me with laughs and a low stress environment.

So - all in all, an amazing moving experience - a big thank you to everyone involved. It ended up taking less time than I had thought and certainly was a lot less stress than I had feared. I will now be recommending Metromovers to anyone I know who is moving.

3 VronnyS 1 month ago Two big strong guys that carried my heavy Piano like it was a tiny toy. They were on time and were very efficient. They also came out with a smile on their face and were great to deal with. Both gentlemen deserve a pat on the back. Very accomodating and genial in their conduct. I put my trust completely in Metromovers.

I had Lisa doing my packing one day before my move, and she was absolutely fantastic. She took great care with all my collectibles, especially porcelain, and she kept up a cracking pace, arriving at 9 am and finishing around 6 pm. Another packer joined her at around 3 pm, and he packed all of my books (more than 1000).

On the day of the move two large trucks and two teams of men arrived at 7 am, and they were so helpful, courteous, and careful with my antiques and other furniture. Everything arrived at my new home in the same condition in which it left my old one, and the guys placed everything exactly where I wanted it. I would recommend Metro to anyone wanting the very best in service, courtesy and work ethics.
