I would like to provide you with some feedback on my moving experience with Metro Movers.

Firstly, I had contacted a couple of places for quotes - most of whom where significantly over quoting me and not taking the time to listen to what my needs were. A colleague suggested you (her family had used you and had very positive experiences). So - very frustrated, I called and spoke with Belinda - who took the time to go through everything in detail with me - all of my needs and expectations. From that phone call alone, I booked the job on the spot.

I called and e-mailed a couple of times for further information or when things changed slightly - every time things were dealt with positively and quickly.

Being called the day before the move was a relief (a friend had recently had movers not bother to turn up when they had been booked).

When the guys turned up they were professional but friendly. The care they showed for my things and the properties at both ends was amazing. They were quick and efficient - whilst still humouring me with converstation and allowing me to help out here and there. They were a very good team, who provided me with laughs and a low stress environment.

So - all in all, an amazing moving experience - a big thank you to everyone involved. It ended up taking less time than I had thought and certainly was a lot less stress than I had feared. I will now be recommending Metromovers to anyone I know who is moving.

Moved from Melbourne to Sydney with Metromovers. Had everything packed up from start to finish and unpacked at my new place. AAA quality service all the way. Strong, clean, polite young men who packed up all my furniture. Delightful unpacking staff who knew just how to arrange all my kitchen cupboards. Impressed!

The Metro-Mover guys were on time, the looked great and were very friendly. All round good experience. I relocated from a two story home built back into a hill, not easily accessed, they came with all the right tools to get the job done.

Moved our houseful of furniture and precious/fragile items quickly, expertly, politely, carefully......we were very happy with the service our 2 removalists provided. Nothing was too much trouble and they even moved some things to different locations in the new house until we were satisfied....and not a single breakage or damage! Thanks :o)

Moved 3 bedroom house from St Kilda to Diamond Creek. The guys were on-time, cheerful and professional. They worked quickly and carefully and even though my kids were being reaalllly annoying, they were so patient with them.

They really made our huge move easy and way less stressful than anticipated. The office staff were also really helpful. The only annoying thing was organising the insurance. They wanted you to print and fax a form back to them, very difficult when everything is in boxes! you couldn't fill the form in to email back as it was a pdf. They certainly helped me to do it another way, which was great, but that felt a bit late 90's!

We had a fantastic experience with metro movers. They were efficient and careful with all of our stuff. They were very professional and were all dressed in a smart casual uniform. It was the most relaxing move we have ever had. We just sat back and watched as they did all the hard work. We never felt we had to worry about our things being damaged. They are a bit on the pricey side but I think you get what you pay for. Also they did not stuff around and waste time so the price probably would have been about the same as a cheaper less efficient company in the end.

We will definitely use metro movers again next time we move.

I recently had a nightmare of a shop that was inherited, to clean up and move out of. The two guys that came and helped me helped me move 30 years worth of stock - it was done in record time, with no fuss, they were helpful and friendly and generally made the whole experience as painless as possible. Look no further if you have a job that is a little out of the ordinary! They hire great people.

Small office move. 5 PCs and about 14 boxes in total and a big screen TV using their one guy and a van option. The guy they sent us was fast and efficient and did an excellent job making sure the items were moved quickly and without damage and was very pleasant (as opposed to the stereo typical grumpy mover guys)

We moved from a 2 bedroom unit to another one. It was a straightforward move, no stairs, no extra special items (like a piano). The guys that moved us were nice enough but chatted way too much and ended up being alot slower than expected. A proposed four hour move ended up more like 6 hours and this cost heaps more than we'd budgeted for. Most of our stuff was moved carefully however a few items (like shelves, drawers) got knocked & chipped which was disappointing. The admin staff were professional & helpful but unfortunately you never know the movers that will turn up on the day - they were transports from OS and don't think they cared enough about what they were doing. Overall I was disappointed.

Exceptional service provided by Bill, Ian and Tom. Attentive and respectful to my needs while working quickly and thoroughly. I was most impressed with the sales staff member Jo, who understood and recommended the best possible logistics for my very complicated requirements. Multiple destinations, tricky driveway access at one location and a very heavy piano were all handled with the greatest care and professionalism. A very successful day.
