I've been shopping at Blondies for years. They have really exciting and unusual clothes and cater for all ages and sizes. Its one of those shops where you have to be prepared to spend some time because there is a quite a lot of stock in the shop and its all quite varied. The staff are really good because they understand that you need time to look and they
do not put pressure on. Overall great staff and clothes.

I've read all the previous reports and I have to agree whole heartedly. The food is really good and very well priced. $20 for two meals. But the staff leave a lot to be desired. When we walked in the waitress just pointed to the table and then plopped down two teas which were luke warm. When we wanted to be served I had to put my hand up and catch the waitresses eye. There were three waitresses all standing down the back looking outside with glazed looks in their eyes doing nothing..... As I said the food is very good but the word will slowly get around as to the really bad service. Its OK to have this sort of service in Asia but not in Melbourne.

This is a great place to buy all your fine art supplies. I've been going to them for years. They also have a shop in Moorabbin on Nepean Highway. The service is great and they have product that you can't get anywhere else. The owners (as you say family run) are very knowledgeable. The outside of the shop in Little Latrobe Street is covered in street art and its not uncommon to see tourists taking photos. Its a Melbourne Icon.

Went there for lunch the other day. Its a lovely little cafe tucked away in a quaint street just beside the Newport Railway Station. I had the souvlaki which was really delicious. All of their sweets are home made and they make a great coffee.

I'm with origin energy - whilst I must say that electricity prices are really high if you can find a more competitive price they will generally match it. I did manage to get my bills down somewhat using this.

Went there for brunch yesterday. It was lovely to sit outside in the sun and watch all the people go by. I ordered the corn cakes with egg and salmon and it was the best I've had. My husband ordered the turkish rissoles and he said that was great as well. We'll definitely be back soon.

Great little place for that special occasion. Its in a lovely little area and has a great ambiance. The food is great with a wide variety to choose from and has an extensive wine list to complement the meals. Would definately recommend this restaurant to anyone.

You know - good old Qantas. Every time I go with a budget airline I always vow to go back to Qantas. By the time you price in the cost of food on the plane and paying for baggage they are just as cheap as the budget ones. Their staff are always very professional and you don't seem to encounter the delays of other airlines.

This review is for Maria's Trattoria, North Melbourne VIC

verified email - 09 Nov 2012

We've been going to Maria's for years. The only problem we have is trying to get a table. During the week it is absolutely packed. Its genuine home cooked italian. The food for us has always been excellent and her ravioli is to die for. Maria has been going for years and years right next to the Victoria Market where all the italians have their stalls so I'm sure the stall holders that eat at Marias would be a good recommendation. Maria always welcomes you personally. The ambiance is not great but its a typical italian eat and run place.

Went there for breakfast. Its a great place to sit and watch the world go by. The food was good although we asked for our hot chocolate to be very hot and it was luke warm. The menu is extensive and most people seemed to be happy with their meals.
