Went on a very crowded night and so maybe our not so satisfactory experience was not usual. It was very dark and crowded and very noisy. There was a wonderful range of food on offer at okay prices but when went to order was told only $20 pizzas were available. Other patrons noted this wasn't the case the night before. Not the place for a quiet conversation. Have a bar area, tables and benches for dining and a garden open air area out the back. I don't think I would return but I guess it's just not my kind of place.

Open on Easter Sunday morning and that was a bonus! Very friendly lady who make me a lovely egg and salad roll. Lots of other baked goods and plenty of sandwiches and rolls to choose from. The choc-chip cookie was great too and lots of drink choice in the fridge. All three items for around $10. Lovely location and pleasant to sit in the park but watch out for the feral Ibis' who steal food out of your hand.

This review is for The Ivanhoe Hotel, Manly NSW

Vibrant and impressive hotel in the heart of Manly. So close to the beach, shopping areas and tourist facilities as well as the Manly ferry terminal. Has a great atmosphere and very friendly staff and is very popular place with the locals. Also has a take away food kiosk located out the front which sells wonderful value pizza, burgers and fish and chips for between $7 and $10. Large serve and quality couldn't be beaten! Great place and would be a regular if lived local.

This review is for Zervo's, Redfern NSW

Was desperate for some quick food when not much else was open. Zervo's is a combination of take away food, delicatessan and tiny supermarket all in one.

He kindly made the biggest and most scrumptious chicken schnitzel roll with salad I've ever seen - also had spicey chicken or falafel etc and a big piece of egg and bacon quiche with some home made shortbread for dessert. When he accidently put mayonnaise in there, he made it again from scratch even though I told him to just scrape it out. Great customer service.

With drinks and a couple of other snacks this all came to under $20.
Wish I lived closer, I'd definitely be returning.

This review is for Adina Apartment Hotel, Chippendale NSW

A lovely place to stay - it's a balance between high quality hotel and a place to call "home". Each apartment has a comfortable bedroom, well appointed kitchen and bathroom facitilites, spacious lounge area and balcony and own doors with card keys to come and go. Very comfortable and you don't feel like you are sandwiched in with other guests.
Great location in the middle of Sydney close to shops, transport, sightseeing and major roads. Has own basement parking. There's also a smallish pool and a gym room. But apartments near the pool can be noisy at times. Room service was efficient - took away rubbish and wiped over kitchen, replenished toilet paper and towels etc while we were out. Depending on your room and amount of people - somewhere between $200 and $300.

This review is for Bobby's Cafe, Darlington NSW

Great little cafe on the corner of Ivy and Abercrombie streets and best of all, it was open on Good Friday when so much else was not. Quirky decor and a nice warm atmosphere, clear menu boards offering burgers, open sandwiches, breakfasts ... all manner of fare at pretty good prices. Nice staff and attentive to detail. Food served on lovely old chopping boards. Highly recommended. Our tandoori burger and chicken and avocado toasted creations were wonderful. With drinks all up was $27 and that's pretty good!

This review is for Picton Kings Charcoal Chicken, Picton NSW

While travelling you get very hungry. We stopped in this lovely town and found Picton Charcoal chicken but they have all sorts of other food as well - steak sandwiches, fish, burgers, salads, desserts, bacon and egg breakfasts etc. There are many value pack meals to choose from which include chips and a drink from around $9.00 to $12.00.
We found them very good value and the lady was very kind making sure we got the best deal by including the drinks we got as "value meal" components.
Great shop and great food. Tables inside and out in this busy street. Has a sort of old fashioned diner style to it inside. Lots of drink options in the fridge. Highly recommended. Also do catering. We spent about $40 for food and drinks for 4 people.

Great place to stop when you're travelling. They are an established bakery and have meals, great coffee and all sorts of snacks and drinks. Big carpark and toilets attached. Great outside or inside seating areas. A must to drop in when you need a break from the road.

This review is for Dog on the Tuckerbox Diner, Gundagai NSW

This is a great Aussie take away at this iconic spot where the Dog on the Tuckerbox statue stands. The shop also sells souvenirs on a dog based and Australian theme of great variety and price. You can browse while you wait for your food.
We got cheese burgers and chips, and nuggets and all were nicely cooked and lightly salted. Very tasty and filling. There were other options of wraps, fish etc.
A very unique and attractive place and great to stop for refreshments and to look at some of the historic displays at the same time.

This review is for Moss Vale Pizza Bar, Moss Vale NSW

This seems like a new shop and needs a little more character to it in its decoration, but the pizzas that they made us were tasty and fresh. Plenty of toppings and light crispy base. We had a margharita with lots of cheese, a half and half with Hawaiian and meatlovers and a cappricciosa with plenty of olives and anchovies. All seemed well made and were good value.

They offer seafood pizzas, chicken, and other specialty pizzas as well as home made pasta. Average prices - small $7, medium $10 and large $15. A drink fridge holds some bottles but not much variety. But we weren't complaining as the pizza made up for it.
