The GNH is the best beer resource in Melbourne with rotating taps every other week! The food is amazing, staff are badass and the beer garden is possibly the best in the entire city. Trivia night here is great, it's also perfect for a Sunday afternoon beverage.
Come here for the coffee and baked eggs, stay for the friendly staff. Head out to the back area and enjoy your meal at one of their picnic tables in the sunshine. Be sure to check this place out.
This place sometimes feels so hip that it hurts. The wifi shuts down at around 5, good for a cider and afternoon change of scenery with the laptop.
Slow service, cold food and to this Nando's that is perfectly acceptable. A million other choices in this area of the city - avoid, avoid, avoid!
Love this place! 100% of the drink profits go to social enterprise. It's a funky little bar with an am unexpected drinks list - be be sure to check this place our trip to the city
Stopped in here for lunch while at the market. It's got a fun 50's American diner throwback feel but apart from that there isn't a lot going on here. The fries were okay, the burger undercooked and Huey was asleep at one of the booths - not the best impression. Give this one a miss I think.
Murmur is simply brilliant. The space is a little tight but the the two gentlemen that run the place will remember your drink order forever. I've been coming to this place regularly for three years and I have still barely cracked their cocktail list. Be sure to try out the Old Fashioned.
I normally stop in here for a macaroon or three. The options are endless and I feel like a kid in a candy store. The team is always friendly which is just an added bonus.
Plenty of fried chicken places are popping up but you can't go past Gami. The chicken here is like no other, be sure to get in early as it can get packed at around 7.
I've recently taken to having this delivered now, it's a $25 minimum but totally worth it.
Honey Bar is just an all round great place. The owner Steve has created a friendly atmosphere and stacked menu (although I always find myself sticking to their awesome parma).
If you download Foursquare the Tuesday special is a steal for only $12!
